SOLD! Enchanting Cotswold Cottage, Upper Dowdeswell
SOLD within 3 weeks!‘I was introduced to Mr. Martin Julier at Brix & Mortimer, via a mutual acquaintance, as I was chatting about possibly selling my property in the Cotswolds after suffering a subarachnoid haemorrhage.
The property was part-renovated and in need of work which I was unable to complete, so we decided to put the property on the market and see what came of it...
Our expectations were that any sale would take a number of months and we would receive a lot of 'silly offers' and have to undergo a lot of upheaval whilst viewings were taking place.
I must confess that I am delighted that I took my colleagues advice and called Martin Julier because I ended up not only selling my property very quickly, but also for the very upper limit of the market value. In fact I received offers 'in excess of' the asking price.
He produced for us the most wonderful set of details, superb photography and an excellent video. In fact he did such a good job of listing the property on-line that I very nearly pulled out of selling the place as it made me think that it was too good to leave!
I am, however, delighted to have sold our place and to have moved somewhere better suited to our present needs. I am extremely comfortable in our new home and enjoying life to the full.

Cheltenham Spa 1980-2016 Then and Now Part 1
This is a video i shot during Summer 2016 to show how my home town of Cheltenham has changed since 1980.
I'm so lucky to have been born here and i absolutely love looking back at old footage of Cheltenham and comparing it to modern times. I'm sure i'm not the only one who enjoys these types of videos, so i thought i would make one of my own for others to enjoy.
I have this romantic idea that in 30 years time somebody else may take this video that i have put together and add to it further.
Life is short and i find it very sad that a lot of the people from the original footage will have no doubt passed away now, i'd like to dedicate this video to their memory and thank my lucky stars i was born in this beautiful green little Town in The Cotswolds.
