Beautiful local Thai restaurant with mountain view serves insects at Chiang mai , Thailand
Traveling Diary : We rent motorbike (cost 300 Baht or 7.90 Euro) and go directly to Huay Tung Tao , Huay Tung Tao is a fresh water reservoir at the foot of Doi Suthep mountain, just a few kilometers north-west of the Chiang Mai city center. The lake is used for swimming and is a well known picnic area. It’s also the starting point for an interesting hike of about 7 kilometers, which will take you to the Dtaat Mook waterfall and to a helipad with breathtaking views over the lake and beyond.
I recommend you to go to this restaurant. After you get check your ticket turn right and keep going stright the restaurant will be on the corner of your left side. Food is cheap and taste very good and people from the restaurant are very nice. I'll come back if I have a chance.
