ANGRY SCOTTISH GHOST - PARANORMAL INVESTIGATION + EVIDENCE
I joined the GPI (Glasgow Paranormal Investigations) on an investigation in an old Scout hall in Uddingston. We were building from 9pm to 3:30am, so this vlog is just full of the creepy footage where we actually experienced strange things. Loads of voices came through the spirit box (including an angry spirit who kept calling us sluts). I caught a few sighs and gasps etc on camera too. Very strange!
I don't know much about the history of the place, other than the scouts there was founded in 1930 - but they believe it's likely that the hall was used for something before that.
Alyson, (one of the girls on the investigation) volunteers in that scout hall and said there's been many a creepy experience there, from footsteps walking up and down the hall, to doors flying open.
What do you think?

OLDEST BUILDING IN GLASGOW (Glasgow Cathedral)
Built before the Reformation from the late 12th century onwards and serving as the seat of the Bishop. The only medieval cathedral on the Scottish mainland) to have survived the Reformation not unroofed. King James the IV (James IV's marriage in 1503 to Margaret Tudor linked the royal houses of Scotland and England. It led to the Union of the Crowns in 1603, when Elizabeth I died without heirs and James IV's great-grandson James VI succeeded to the English throne as James I) James ratified the treaty of Perpetual Peace with England at the high altar on 10 December 1502.[5] The cathedral and the nearby castle played a part in the battles of Glasgow in 1544 and 1560.[6] Twenty years after the Reformation, on 22 April 1581 James VI granted the income from a number of lands to Glasgow town for the kirk's upkeep. He traced the ownership of these lands to money left by Archbishop Gavin Dunbar as a legacy for repairing the cathedral.[7] The town council agreed on 27 February 1583 to take responsibility for repairing the kirk, while recording they had no obligation to do so.[8] The church survives because of this resolution. Inside, the rood screen is also a very rare survivor in Scottish churches. A lot of history you can feel when you enter the doors from King James Queen Mary queen of Scot's William Wallace so much more.

The haunted walkways and buildings of Edinburgh
SHOTLIST
Edinburgh - 10 May, 2008
1. Wide of Edinburgh Castle
2. Various of tourists
3. Pan up of bag piper
4. Various close of Haunted tour signs reading 'City of the Dead'
5. SOUNDBITE: (English) Mark Turner, Ghost Finders Scotland
Well Edinburgh itself is alleged to be one of the most haunted places in the world. So if we (Ghost Finders Scotland) are going to do research this is the best place.
6. Wide of city chambers
7. Close of Mary Kings Close sign
8. Set up of Ghost Festival organiser Lisa Helsby
9. SOUNDBITE: (English) Lisa Helsby, Edinburgh Ghost Festival organiser
It's a ten-day festival of all things paranormal in Edinburgh. It's the fourth year we have been running now and its allegedly one of the UK's largest festivals on all things paranormal.
10. Various of Turner and Helsby walking down stairs
11. Wide of underground close
12. Set up of guide and local historian Janine
13. SOUNDBITE: (English) Janine, local ghost tour guide
Well actually these streets are underground because they where covered over by a trading area called the royal exchange in 1753. The last major out break of the plague in Edinburgh was actually in 1645, 100 years before hand, so it was nothing to do with the plague at all. During that outbreak of the plague we did lose over 55 per cent of the residents (Mary Kings Close) so there was a very high death toll at that time.
14. Mid of original window frame in the close
15. Close of Mark Turner at working at lap top
16. Close of computer screen
17. SOUNDBITE: (English) Mark Turner, Ghost Finders Scotland
What I was about to do there is an EVP experiment. EVP stands for 'Electronic Voice Phenomenon' believed to be the voices of spirits picked up on audio recording equipment. Now we have been working with this kind of research over the past few years and we have picked up some fascinating results. So what we are essentially going to do is run the recorder for a short space of time, and ask a question and see if we have any replies on it. So we will do that right now, if we can remain as quite as possible. 'If there is any spirit people here with us can you please come forward'.
18. Close of Turner at computer
19. SOUNDBITE: (English) Mark Turner, Ghost Finders Scotland
It is possible that this part has quite a good decibel level to it. Now these recorders are rather insensitive and what you will find is if the noise has not been made within 6ft of the recorder then it will be very very low and muffled. But there seems to be a good decibel level to this part which would suggest it occurred quite close to the recorder.
20. Zoom into computer screen
21. Various of tourists
22. Wide of stairs
23. SOUNDBITE: (English) Mark Turner, Ghost Finders Scotland
You get people who come in who are very sceptical. You get people coming in who are total believers and its quite interesting when you get the sceptics in and you are able to send them home with a few extra questions in their head.
24. Wide of Royal mile
25. SOUNDBITE (English) Caroline Dunn, Vox Pop
I do believe in ghosts and I also believe in angels.
26. SOUNDBITE: (English) Anne Smith, tourist
I absolutely do not believe in ghosts, I think Edinburgh is haunted by tourists that's what I think.
27. Wide of Richard Felix entering vault
28. SOUNDBITE: (English) Richard Felix, paranormal enthusiast
Its got such long history, such a bloody history. The other thing is so many of the buildings are still preserved and I am a great believer that old buildings especially made of stone and most of Edinburgh is stone they can hold a memory, of tragic and traumatic events that can be replayed so in other words Edinburgh is one huge stone tape recorder.
30. Close of stone skull

For those of you interested on how I make my videos, I primarily use Final Cut Pro X to edit my videos.
I hire different researchers and writers for the script for each video along with my original commentary related to the topic and hire professional voice over artists that can properly convey the the theme of the video. Most importantly, find the best background music, usually royalty free from Incompetech or Co.ag, to create a creepy atmosphere while watching the video.
I use different stock footages (both free and paid), clips of videos that I can find related to the video and search images to visualize the narrative and story that I’m trying to tell.
It usually takes us week to create 1 video and hopefully, we can create more videos per week without sacrificing quality in the future!
Also shoutout to sdboobis for another amazing narration!

Ghost of ~The Banshee Labyrinth~ Niddry St, Edinburgh ~ Scotland
Half of the club was once part of the infamous “underground Vaults” -once the haunt of criminals, thieves and the very unsavoury. It was in these former slums that many poor and innocent met a very grisly end! Ironically right next door, the front of the club; was once home to one of the richest men in Edinburgh, Lord Nicol Edwards. Edwards was Lord Provost of Edinburgh during the reign of King James VI/I of Scotland & England, and was reputedly a vile man – not only did he abuse his own wife horribly, but he is said to have had a basement dungeon beneath his house in which he at times personally tortured suspected witches before trial.
Now, along with many other spirits, ‘The Banshee’ haunts this Labyrinth. When refurbishing the venue a group of workmen believed they all heard a terrifying scream. A few hours later, one of the workmen received a phone call informing him that a family member had passed away.
/thebansheelabyrinth.com
Most notably an entity known as The Watcher', a man in a long black coat with a tricorn hat and large boots.
Those who have seen him up claim say that, beneath the rim of his hat, he has no facial features whatsoever.
When the pub now known as The Banshee Labyrinth was renovating one of the vaults for storage space, a workman described seeing a woman in a long, old fashioned grey dress.
She had long red hair but covered her face with her hands as she sobbed.
Who are you? he asked. How did you get in here? Can I help?'
He received no reply, and the woman merely continued to cry, before removing her hands to reveal a pale, gaunt face with cracked, rotten teeth.
It was then that she shrieked; an awful bloodcurdling howl which caused the workman to black out in terror. When he came to, she was gone.
By the time he was safely home and nursing a stiff whiskey he received a phone call informing him that a family member had died.
He realised that the spectre he had seen in the vaults was a banshee, a spirit from Irish Mythology whose screams are said to herald the death of a relative.
Edinburgh's Banshee has not screamed since but has been known to sing down in the blackness of those haunted tunnels and has occasionally hurled objects at some of the tourists taking tours of the vaults.
But the Banshee Labyrinth is far from pub's only resident spirit. The main bar area is said to be haunted by a six-year-old girl called Molly, who disappeared in 1841. An old chimney in the building was said to be her burial site, and when it was bricked up, a child's shoe with the name 'Molly inscribed upon it fell out.
Beware 'Ole Jock' in the ladies... On the opposite side of the bar, there have been many reports of paranormal activity in the ladies' toilets, where a spirit known as 'Ole Jock' reputedly slams doors and turns the hand dryers on and off.
He is known for his fondness of pretty young girls, with many women reporting seeing his shadow looming over the doorway, hearing ghostly feet dragging across the floor, feeling his breath on the back of their necks, and some even claim to have been attacked.
Many of Edinburgh's ghost walks end by entering The Banshee Labyrinth directly from the vaults, with patrons given a token for a free drink - which is just as well, because when you've been down there, you'll need one.
Mysterious Medieval Edinburgh
About this destination video:
In this (to) short trip to Edinburgh I tried to capture the mysterious and medieval vibe of the city. It was one of the most impressive city's I have seen. The buildings, the streets, it feels like the history of it never left. And with a choice of horror tours you can participate on and a lot of old stories of witches and ghost’s you can imaging J. K. Rowling wrote her Harry Potter books there.
The shot in the tunnel of lights is made the museum called Camera Obscura, awesome museum:

S.P.I.R.I.T. UK investigate The Blair Street vaults
Edinburgh, SCOTLAND.
In May 2016 the team along with our guests did an
investigation of The Blair Street Vaults. Our night was made
difficult due to the level of external noise from local pubs and
clubs, and sadly due to a corrupted file we only managed to
save 3 out of 8 files of footage (64 mins/3hrs).
However with so little footage we managed to record a
staggering 116 EVPs (spirit voices) and many appear to back up
many of the personal experiences that we had, including
feeling a dog brush past us early in the night.......

VAMPIRE HUNTERS (SOUTH NECROPOLIS GORBALS GLASGOW)
Opened in the year 1840
The cemetery was established in response to the crowded state of the old Gorbals burial ground. In 1954 the cemetery played host to a large group of child vampire hunters searching for the purported Gorbals Vampire The incident, sparked by an urban myth that a vampire had killed two local children, was blamed on American horror comics such as the tales from the crypt. THE WHITE LADY It is the resting place of John S Smith, carpet manufacturer, his wife Magdalene and there house keeper Mary McNaughton. The tragic story behind the accidental death of Magdalene and her housekeeper on the 29th October 1933 while returning from church to there home at Langside Avenue, Sheltering from the heavy rain behind an umbrella, they walked into the path of a tramcar on Queen's Drive. Magdalen died on arrival at the Victoria Infimary and Mrs McNaughton passed away two weeks later. Local legend tells how the white lady turns her head as you pass by. The stone white lady is said to be haunted by one of the ladies.
Sorry about the wind in some parts, can't be helped winter in Scotland but hope you enjoy.

Paranormal Investigation, Walking With Ghosts, Govanhill Baths (Real Ghost Film)
We invite you to come with us Walking with Ghosts
Come along and explore the dark world of the real life ghost hunter, medium and paranormal investigator with fly on the wall documentary film maker Alistair Wells.
This investigation centres around a disused pool & bath house complex in the South side of Glasgow, Scotland. The Govanhill baths, were built just before the War in 1914 with a Steamie for laundry, domestic style baths known as slipper baths and three large public swimming pools It is said that the baths were used as a makeshift mortuary during the war. Come with me, the Lanarkshire Paranormal & guests, for a ghostly tour around this fascinating historical location. Discover the dark hidden past of the baths and meet a few unexpected visitors along the way.
We will never attempt to fake or script events or storylines, everything we film is as it happens and as it was perceived by the people at that time. We do however compress the time scale cut the long parts where nothing happens and highlight the most active stuff with a little dramatic music for your entertainment, we hope you enjoy our adventures. This is the first of many to come.
We don't pretend to have answers to the mysteries of the spirit world, but together we just might catch a glimpse of the other side.
This investigation was hosted by the Lanarkshire Paranormal team
