Ultimate Mexican street food tour in GUADALAJARA, Mexico | Best TACOS de BARBACOA in Guadalajara
BEST BARBACOA TACOS in GUADALAJARA, MEXICO | Massive Mexican street food tour in Guadalajara
We're in Mexico's second biggest city, Guadalajara in the state of Jalisco. In this video we share with you some of the Guadalajara's best street food in the neighbourhood of Santa Tere. We start with the famous breakfast dish of barbacoa tacos. Here in Guadalajara the barbacoa is made from slow cooked beef in a tomato and chill sauce. The barbacoa is put into tortillas, topped with onions and then half fried on the hot plate. The result is a crunchy, juicy, delicious mess! Next up we head to the Mercado Santa Tere- a local market which is utterly charming and has a great community spirit. We eat chile rellenos at a fonda and then sip the famous Versace juice from Titas. Then it's over the road to a popular local dessert shop for jerricallas- Jalisco's famous dessert- a baked custard with a burnt top. We went with another classic- carne en su jugo- meat in its juices- a dish which is the personification of comfort food! We hope you enjoy this massive Mexican street food tour in Guadalajara, Jalisco! #mexicanstreetfood #mexicanfood #guadalajarafood

Guadalajara Travel Guide 2019
We visited Guadalajara and surrounding area in April 2019 and here's the inside scoop on how to maximize your value and time in this wonderful part of the world.
Put this place on your BUCKET LIST!!
The Pueblo Mágico Tapalpa amazed us with breathtaking waterfalls, a mysterious valley, & charming culture.
►Get $40 off Airbnb when you sign up with our link:
In this Jalisco Mexico vlog, we stayed in the Pueblo Magico, Tapalpa for a little less than a week. This provincial mountain town is truly something special. While in this Magic Town, we enjoyed the mouth-watering food of the mountains of Jalisco while soaking in the relaxing essence of nature surrounding the town.
So many people recommended we visit Tapalpa, Jalisco and now we know why! We just wish we’d come sooner! During our trip, we also made our way to Valle de Piedrotas, or Valley of Large Stones, what is considered the main attraction of Tapalpa. Later, we journey through some sketchy dirt roads to find what we later learned was the largest waterfall either of us have ever seen, and perhaps the most stunning thing we’ve ever seen in nature. This Mexican waterfall, called Salto de Nogal is an absolute MUST SEE if you are in Guadalajara or Lake Chapala Jalisco, Mexico. Heck, even if you aren’t in Jalisco or Mexico, we think this experience was practically unparalleled and a definite must.
What do you think of our adventures in this travel Mexico vlog? We'd love to hear from you in the comments! Where should our Tangerine Travels take us next?
These are our recommendations on what to see / do / eat / stay in Tapalpa, Mexico.
WHAT TO SEE / DO IN TAPALPA
1. Valle de Piedrotas (spectacular views and impressively large stones)
2. Salto de Nogal (two jaw-dropping waterfalls)
3. El Centro de Tapalpa (the center of town with lots to see, do, and eat)
4. The shops (poke around the shops of Tapalpa for some traditional wooden products, rompope, ponche, coffee, woven clothing, and other unique goodies to Jalisco)
5. Give some love to the many gentle and kind stray dogs.
WHERE TO EAT IN TAPALPA
1. La Villa Tapalpa (the best food & drinks we tasted in Tapalpa!)
2. Madre Tierra Tapalpa (TIED for the best food we tasted in Tapalpa!)
3. Paulinos (the cheapest breakfast in Tapalpa)
4. Dulceria El Checo (the best espresso in Tapalpa)
WHERE TO STAY IN TAPALPA
1. We enjoyed the Tapalpa Airbnb we found in town, a cabin-style hotel called La Huerta. This is the link to rent it:

Touring the Last TEQUILA Producing Hacienda in the World | GUADALAJARA Travel & Drink Vlog
You can’t NOT go to a Tequila distillery when you travel to Guadalajara. We boarded the Tequila train to Casa Herradura, the last Tequila producing hacienda (estate) in the world, located in Amatitán next to the town of Tequila. The tour included taste testing their 100% pure agave spirits, a walk through the old and new distilleries, and traditional Mexican folkloric dance and music performances. Relive this day of day-drinking with my fam and friends through another Guadalajara Mexico travel vlog.

Drive from Guadalajara to Tequila, Jose Cuervo, Mexico Part 1
I drove from Guadalajara to the town of Tequila on Sunday, 6 Sept 2015. I might say otherwise in the video. I will need to upload about 4-5 parts total. And I'll try to go a Guadalajara city, to the airport video.
Sorry, this video is very shaky. Before I upload the next video I will attempt to remove the shakiness. I am also dealing with a weak PC and normally slow internet since I am travelling around.
For some reason the camera shut off early even though I started with a full battery and empty 64GB memory card, I think it got too hot. After not using the camera for about 5-7 minutes I checked to see if it was OK and it started to work again. I set the car's A/C to blow cold air out of the top window vent, which would help cool the GoPro. It never turned off again. I actually didn't think a GoPro would shut off for getting too hot from just being on the windshield. I used the skeleton case with it.
Camera used is a GoPro 4 Black, settings 1080P, 30 fps, medium width.
It is probably excessively shaky because I made my window mount from an old Garmin GPS window mount. I didn't think the mount would be so shaky. And to make it worse the roads in Mexico are a little bit rough to say the least.
Car driven is a rented 2014, or 2105 VW. They call it a GOL. Not a GOLF. But it looks a little bit like a Jetta. But, Mexico has VW Jettas, and VW Classicos which are a Jetta. This car doesn't look like a Golf.
For navigation I was using my Samsung Note Edge on T-Mobile, and the Google maps app.
