Four Seasons Shooting Holidays has been operating for over 18 years now and offers some of the best wing-shooting Safaris, duck & goose shooting in South Africa. We are the biggest and best shooting outfitters in South Africa. Our lodges are located from Johannesburg to Bloemfontein in South Africa.
The numbers of Egyptian and Spurwing geese have been significantly increasing for the last 20 years. There are resident Egyptian geese which allow us to shoot from the start of May before the tens of thousands of migratory geese start to move up and down the country feeding on the new shooting wheat fields from the middle of July. Thousands of Yellow bill ducks and red bill Teal also start arriving at this time. We guarantee that you will shoot geese and ducks anytime between 1st May to the 31st August.
In the Free State in South Africa we have the sole shooting rights to tens of thousands of hectares of prime shooting areas from Johannesburg to Bloemfontein. This helps us to rest areas and make sure that the geese and ducks do not become overshot or decoy shy.
Traveling to our shooting areas in the mornings can take from 5 to 45 minutes. Once at the shooting ground we use 4×4’s and trailers to make sure that you do not have to exert yourself to get into position. We use the latest decoys, calls, hides, guns and other equipment to make sure that once we get into position we will provide the best opportunity to shoot your chosen quarry.
Richard Mumford is the head goose guide and sole owner of Four Season’s Shooting. He will do everything within his power to make your trip memorable. The shooting that we have delivered to groups over many seasons has led us to be highly respected within the South African wildfowling community.
