March Allotment Garden Tour 2018
Join me on a tour around my allotment garden and my newly organised shed! I'll also share with you the exciting activity that has taken place in my wildlife pond, in between the heavy snowfall this month.
My allotment is based in St. Ann's Allotments in Nottingham, UK which is a grade II listed site that is known to be the largest and oldest allotment site in Europe.
I apologise in advance for my nervousness, the interrupting chainsaw and rambling! This is only my second video so if you like what I'm doing let me know and I might invest in getting a microphone!

Shocking Driving Caught On Dash Cam - St Anns, Nottingham
A shocked driver has captured the bizarre driving of a motorist in St Anns, Nottingham. In the footage the driver can be seen driving on the wrong side of the road around a pedestrian island and driving the wrong way around the roundabout.
Driver Louis Gee told Dash Cam Network It looks like a man aged around 25-40. I just don’t understand what happened, it came out of know where and he went back to driving normally (ish) soon after. Drugs could be involved, or an EU driver
It’s not like he didn’t know how to drive because he did. Even if you drove without a license surely you’d know to stay on your side of the road especially on roundabouts

Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust Light Night 2018
As part of Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trusts ambitious Nottingham for nature campaign, young people took to the streets of Nottingham as part of Light Night 2018.
Over 1000 people adorned UV bat and flower face paints and enjoyed our silent disco of the immersive sound of a dawn chorus, bringing bird song back to our urban centre.

Night of the Living Allotments - Ecoworks Halloween 2012
For those who should definitely heed the warning don't go in the woods at night, where better to hold a Halloween festivity/disco/video show but at the country's oldest allotments in St Ann's, Nottingham. With no electricity and no drinking water, sunset at 5pm and a ferocious storm on its way, the Ecoworks' community garden hosted their first scary movie event this Halloween, with a selection of ghoulish treats including pumpkin soup, gory cakes, mulled cider, a bonfire to keep the plants at bay, and a monster mash of a disco, film show and horrific background visuals... With no electricity on site, the technical side and music were powered by Confetti and a generator presumably absconded from Leatherface's family estate, while Ecoworks kept the candles alight and the stove brimming over with ghastly goodies to eat and drink. It was a fun night of slipping around in the mud and darkness; with real bats, apple trees lashing out to 'bob' anyone who passed, and a treacherous trip through the wilderness to the compost loo, it was a unique opportunity to experience the natural world at the spookiest, darkest time of the year. A sell-out gig, with all profits from the night going to (finally!) fund the glass in their purpose-built greenhouse.
