Through the Lens of Time: Ipswich Time-Lapse
A shorter video that I made in Ipswich, MA. It is shorter than the last one and has some more rough sections. I was trying some different intervals and topics to capture and this was my first try.
The music is Once in a Lifetime by Future World Music. Unfortunately because of the pacing of different scenes I had trouble finding a well matched song. In the future I want to try and keep solid interval shots per video, but because I was on vacation and only around for a limited time I had to use all I could get.
There is a slowed down video at the beginning which was an attempt to use a different form of recording in the video. I think it fell short for this one but I hope to improve on my next one.
Thanks for Watching!

Mariner's hymn
Origins: The Millennial Harp (1843): designed for meetings on the second coming of Christ. Sung at camp and revivalist meetings. This arrangement based on the singing of the Johnson Girls.
This concert was the culmination of a six-week project which creates a choir from scratch for one night only. Each winter and summer, Chris Rowbury gathers a random bunch of singers from in and around Ipswich. There are no auditions and all songs are taught and learnt by ear. Usually eight songs are learnt in six two-hour sessions and in the winter are performed at St. Peters by the Waterfront, Ipswich.

The Mill Project.mov
In response to a commission from Ipswich Borough Council to create a temporary architectural work, Midas Productions' The Mill Project was created to highlight the recent redevelopment of Ipswich's historic waterfront, to connect Ip-art (Ipswich's annual arts festival) with the town in a very visible way, and to give a platform for a cutting edge digital work utilising the best of recent developments in entertainment technology, lighting control and bringing together British artists to deliver a large scale architectural lighting project.

ABOUT
The Lincolns are a 4 piece Teddy Boy band who play a mix of High Energy Rock n Roll, Rockabilly classics and originals with their own unique style and sound. Dressed in their drape coats, drainpipe trousers and creepers, The Lincolns punch out the songs with the same style, enthusiasm, and energy as they were played when things were really kicking off in the fabulous fifties. Already a regular on the Adelaide festival and dance circuit, they are now making a name for themselves interstate and have had amazing receptions so far. As The Lincolns say... When the Ted's are boppin', there's just no stoppin' that Teddy Boy Rock n Roll.
LYRICS
Mama, I been good all week long
And I think it's about time for my reward
I don't need no chocolates with cherries inside
No mama, I just wanna go out tonight
Well mama-mama, can I go out tonight
There's a real cool chick that I got my eye-eye on
Well now mama, she's only seventeen
Oh, but the way that girls moves mama, she's real mean
Well, now I just wanna go down town
See what the other guys are doing
I'll be home before a quarter to nine
Mama, you know that I really ain't foolin'
Mama, well please-please can I go
Lord, well I'll be home before too long
Well mama, can I go out tonight
'Well it won't be long before the sun is going down
Well mama, before it gets too late
Oh Well I wanna use the car to go cruise around
Oh Well, I just wanna go down town
See what the other guys are doing
I'll be home before a quarter to nine
Mama, you know that I really ain't foolin'
Mama, well please-please can I go
Lord, well I'll be home before too long
Oh Well, I just wanna go down town
See what the other guys are doing
I'll be home before a quarter to nine
Mama, you know that I really ain't foolin'
Mama, well please-please can I go
Lord, well I'll be home before too long
Oh Well, I'll be home before too long
Oh yes, well I'll be home before too long
