Hundreds of well-wishers are leaving tributes at mosques around the world in the wake of the terror attack on New Zealand's darkest day. A sea of flowers can be seen outside Al Noor and Linwood Majid mosques in Christchurch as hundreds of people flocked to the mosque for a vigil as the city mourns the horrific mass-shooting. Mourners have been seen walking through Christchurch with an endless stream of flowers as thousands of residents turned up on Saturday evening to mourn the 49 people who lost their lives.

Hi all. This is a video of Adam McGrath from the Eastern during a solo performance at St Peter's Church at Paekakariki on the 6th of April.
I had only intended taking stills but thought I'd try a video as well.
It was really dark and it was my first attempt shooting video with my DSLR.
I broke all the rules, no tripod, auto focus, exposure and sound levels so it is a bit rough, but hopefully you will enjoy Adam's performance.

The Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament (known as the Christchurch Basilica) is located in the city centre of Christchurch, New Zealand. It is the mother church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Christchurch and seat of the Bishop of Christchurch. It was designed by architect Francis Petre.
The Cathedral was closed after the 4 SEPTEMBER 2010 Canterbury earthquake. The February 2011 Christchurch earthquake collapsed the two bell towers at the front of the building and destabilised the dome. The dome was removed and the rear of the Cathedral was demolished.
In May 2015 an investigation was launched into whether the largely undamaged nave could be retained as part of an otherwise new building.

He is also a regular speaker to parish groups in the United States and Canada.
