Coptic Orthodox Church of South Africa (Part-2).
+Coptic Orthodox Church of South Africa:
+Who we are?
We represent the youth of the Coptic (Egyptian)Orthodox Church based in Sydney, Australia. We have travelled to South Africa these past years, on a bi-annual basis, and promote Christianity to the community and youth as a whole.
The Coptic Orthodox Church was founded by our patriarch St Mark the Apostle, who first started the mission of spreading the word of our Lord in Alexandria Egypt during the First Century A.D. This mission has continued and expanded from the North of Africa to its West and South lands.
Under the Bishopric of His Grace Bishop Antonious Markos, the Bishop of African Affairs, the Coptic Orthodox Church established a Diocese Headquarters in South Africa in 1977, and presently caters for approximately 20,000 Coptic African Orthodox Christians.

SUMMARY
=======
The Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria and all Africa (Greek: Πατριαρχεῖον Ἀλεξανδρείας καὶ πάσης Ἀφρικῆς, Patriarcheîon Alexandreías kaì pásēs Aphrikês) is an autocephalous Byzantine Rite jurisdiction of the Eastern Orthodox Church, having the African continent as its canonical territory.
It is commonly called the Greek or Eastern Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria to distinguish it from the Coptic or Oriental Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria. Members of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate were once known as Melkites, because they remained in communion with the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople after the schism that followed the Council of Chalcedon in 451.
Mark the Evangelist is considered the founder of the See, and the Patriarchate's emblem is the Lion of Saint Mark.
Black African Convert from Swaziland Becomes Orthodox Rabbi
Black African Convert from Swaziland Becomes Orthodox Rabbi
The remarkable story of a black African from a royal lineage in Swaziland who was raised a Christian, converted to Judaism and became a Haredi Litvish Rabbi in Israel. It begins with Rabbi Natan Gamedze's first visit home in 16 years and traces back his extraordinary spiritual journey from Swaziland to Israel. By following Rabbi Gamedze's journey to Judaism, this story provides an extraordinary insight into orthodox Jewish thinking from a completely different background. Along the way it gently explores race issues, pre and post apartheid.
