Vancouver Whale Watching - Seabreeze Adventures
This was our first time whale watching and we had such a lucky day! We saw sea lions, bald eagle, porpoises, killer whales, and even a humpback whale! The whole tour was about 4 hours long. Lots of sun and lots of wind. We were glad to have the orange suits to keep us dry and warm. Such an amazing experience to see these beautiful animals out in the wild!
Steveston in October 1957
This video footage from an amateur film-maker presents assorted scenes of Steveston around October 1957. Highlights include the B.C. Electric Tram, B.C. Packers Imperial Plant, the Steveston Community Centre and businesses along Moncton Street. It gives a unique perspective of Steveston during a transformative period in its history.

Whale Watching at Steveston Seabreeze Adventures on 19th April 2016
Located in Richmond, Steveston Seabreeze Adventures is one of the many whale watching boating services. Daily departure is at 12 pm and check in is 45 minutes before departure time. We were very lucky to have just chanced upon the orcas feeding (this particular type hunted sea lions). The video shown is shortly after the feeding (you can see the seagulls swooping in for clean up duty) and the orcas are just happily relaxing after a nice meal.
Whale watching in Steveston, Richmond B.C.
Late October, we went on an exciting whale watching boat tour organized by Steveston Seabreeze Adventure, set in Steveston, Richmond, B.C.
We saw 5 humpback whales, and sea lions. Unfortunately, we could not see any orcas... but it was worth it. The pacific ocean wildlife tour was very educational, we learnt so much about whales' lifestyle and habits. Very interesting.
The weather was also amazing, which made the experience even better.

YOU WON'T BELIEVE THE DAY WE HAD IN STEVESTON - VANCOUVER, CANADA
My good friend Vanessa took us on a great adventure to the old times sleepy town of Steveston out on the island of Richmond.
We got to eat amazing fish and chips at the famous Pajo's on the water and buy prawns fresh out of the ocean.
The way Vancouverites eat is is out of this world - fresh to death.
And Luna got to sample yet another outdoor playground - by far her favourite part of visiting Canada.

Vancouver to Victoria Whale Watching
After our Voyage of the Glaciers Southbound cruise with Princess (Whittier, Alaska to Vancouver, B.C.) we stayed in Vancouver for a couple of nights. We also took an excursion from Vancouver over to Vancouver Island (Victoria) on a Whale Watching boat. I have a dear friend who lives in Victoria and I've always wanted to see Orcas, so this little jaunt was a win/win for us. :)
Whale Watching with Seabreeze Adventures in British Columbia - Orcas/Killer Whales
On July 4th 2012, I took a video of the killer whales we spotted while on a whale watching tour in British Columbia, Canada. The tour was with Seabreeze Adventures ( out of Steveston BC. We saw a handful of orcas on our trip - and I tried to capture as many as possible on video! Sorry for the shaky quality, I was standing on top of the moving ship and it was hard to keep a steady hand. :)
