No Topless Bathing Grey & Paraquet Views, Belfast Sunflower Bar
I'm standing outside the Sunflower Bar at the junction of Kent and Union streets Belfast. this area has become a well known spot for street art, murals and graffiti. It is alsoan area associated with inner city decay and redevelopment. The Sunflower Bar stands forlorn and alone as a reminder of past days when it was the hub of community life, that community now long gone. The bathing sign raises a smile gives an insight into our black Belfast humour.

Lyra Mckee Street Art Tribute Kent St Belfast
I'm on Kent Street Belfast near the Sunflower Bar. I'm standing opposite the new street art tribute to Belfast journalist Lyra McKee.
Lyra McKee ( 31st March 1990 -18th April 2019 ) aged 29.
Lyra McKee was fatally shot during riots in the Creggan area of Derry/Londonderry. The popular and well known journalist journalist and author was killed by indiscriminate fire as she observed clashes between police and what are believed to be New IRA dissidents.
Ms McKee's funeral took place in St Anne's Cathedral Belfast. As well as her family, her partner and her friends, it was attended, among others, by, UK Prime Minister Theresa May, Irish President Michael D. Higgins, Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar, DUP leader Arlene Foster, Sinn Fein leaders Mary Lou McDonald and Michelle O'Neill and Labour leader Corbyn.
This excellent mural was painted primarily by talented Dublin artist Emma Blake, ( street art, tag name ESTR ) and is one of a series of street art displays forming the basis of the Hit the North Street Art Festival 2019.
The image of Ms McKee (29) is painted alongside the words of a powerful letter she wrote to her 14-year-old self.
The message reads, It won't always be like this. It's going to get better - words that have gained added resonance since her murder.
Festival curator Adam Turkington said that artist Ms Blake wanted to honour the late writer. He revealed the location of the mural had been specially chosen because it faces an existing artwork produced by artist Emic, where Lyra had once posed for a photograph. The site is also close to St Anne's Cathedral.
PS Please understand that my channel is NOT an Open Forum!
I didn't put up this street art tribute to Ms McKee, so that folks could come on and post and make it into some sort of political debate about Brexit or anything else.
The video was made solely as a tribute to a young lady whose life was wrongfully taken from her.
To this end I am removing those comments trying to raise a political argument. I do not feel that it is at all appropriate to what I was trying to do in my video. If you want to have a political debate please go elsewhere.
All other sensitive and appropriate posts are welcome.

Lyrics:
Even though things might change and even though they stay the same and I only see you half as much as I should.
And even though you're far away, and even though it's gonna stay that way, and we only talk about half as much as we should.
It'll be much better after this, after this.
Way down low, is where I don't want to go, and how good this could be.
It's hard to say where we're heading, it's hard to know how much we're betting, if we only talk through ones and noughts and O-O-O-Os
