Capturing barrels, blue sky and surfers riding these beautiful waves in one of the most famous surf spot in the world.

Tobias aka the General Schroeder surfing his home break in Jeffreys Bay, South Africa. In this short video he surfs multiple waves in and around Jbay and Cape St Francis. Toby's surfing has improved a lot over the years, with help form South African surf coach Shannon Ainslie and his sponsers Rip Curl Europe and Santoloco Surf Shop, and has recently won the ADH open. Surfing in Jeffreys Bay, South Africa - Ticket To Ride Surf Camp, Jan 2013
Here's a look at our first week in J-Bay. The group have been learning a lot from Etianne and everyone's surfing has improved a lot, with each member riding a point break wave. We have also painted a township school as one of our community projects, each of the group returned with very painted hands! A highlight of J-Bay so far has been Klee's birthday when we took a trip to the waterfalls where there is a zip wire ride into the water, this created much fun and a lot of laughs. Trying to surf Supertubes at Jeffrey's Bay Vlog 9
Supertubes in J Bay is infamous as one of the best waves to surf around the world. I headed down to the beach to give it a go. Then in the afternoon I visited Storms River mouth which is stunning and has a fun suspension walk bridge over the mouth of the river.
Next stop on my road trip around South Africa will be Plettenburg Bay.

JBay Winter 2015 Begins
This past weekend saw some fun size swell moving up the coast. I am blessed to have been able to swim out and get a few shots with my GoPro. The last weekend in May meaning that we are now into the winter months, and if this is the start of things to come, its going to be a solid winter season!
The Journey: 4x4 and Surfing in Transkei with Ricky Basnett, Emma Smith and Avo Ndamase
Ricky Basnett, Emma Smith and Avuyile Avo Ndamase set off in their Mitsubishi Triton bakkies to find waves off the beaten track in the Transkei region (now the Eastern Cape) of South Africa.
Along their journey down the wild coast, they visit renowned surf spots like Mdumbi, Lwandile and Coffee bay, but spend a fair amount of time exploring unknown nooks along the rugged coastline, many of which require a 4x4 to reach. A visit to the Transkei wouldn't be complete without a visit to the iconic Hole in the wall, and the trio of professional surfers find something special.

With J-Bay back as a main event on the WCT, the pro's came early to practise at Supers before contest started, and on this morning they showed what a ''playground'' the wave really is.
