Beautiful Tangle Creek Falls - Jasper National Park, Canada
Tangle Falls is located along Icefields Parkway just 8 km away from Athabaska Glacier. If you are driving to Jasper it is a great spot to take stop and snap a few photos or you can even hike up the waterfalls.
Chasing Waterfalls in Jasper National Park. Athabasca, Sunwapta, and Tangle Creek Falls
In the middle of August my friend Corey and myself took a one week holiday exploring the Rockies. We spent one day driving the Icefields Parkway chasing waterfalls. This video showcases 3 beautiful waterfalls, Ahthabasca, Sunwapta, and Tangle Creek Falls. Some of the footage in this video was taken by my friend Corey with his GoPro.

A VERY QUICK visit to Tangle Creek Falls
Right along the side of the Icefields Parkway is Tangle Creek Falls. I headed up to the top to get a closeup shot of the frozen waterfall, but the cold weather and snow was causing me some issues trying to record the video.
A really beautiful place to visit, and very accessible as long as you have some good traction on the ice!

Hwy 93 ice-field parkway give you an opportunity to see this beauty. The cascade drops nearly 114 feet and several overlapping streams all meet up and fall into a singular, powerful plunge. There are also three additional tiers that are around 14, 18 and 13 feet each.

Elle est certainement la cascade la plus facilement accessible le long de la Promenade des Glaciers (Icefied Parkway) car elle se situe en bordure de cette route.
Comme le stationnement se trouve de l'autre côté de la route, il faut être prudent lorsque l'on en fait la traversée car le passage des véhicules est très fréquent.
Cette cascade est définitivement très jolie. D'une hauteur approximative de 34 m, elle se déverse tout doucement sur différents paliers.
Bien qu'il est intéressant d'avoir une vue d'ensemble de cette cascade à partir de la route, je vous invite à prendre un des sentiers (à droite ou à gauche de la cascade) qui mènent au premier palier.
Le terrain est plutôt accidenté, mais cette courte randonnée mérite véritablement les quelques efforts effectués pour nous rendre jusque là car cette cascade nous paraît encore beaucoup plus imposante à ce niveau.
