GoPro Hero 7 Black - Hiking Te Mata Peak in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand
Te Mata Peak is an awesome hiking spot near to where I live in Hastings. There are 5 trails catered to different levels of fitness, and the blue and red trails both reach the summit.
My favourite is the Giant Circuit (red trail) because it passes lots of interesting spots such as the redwood forest, and what follows the hardest part of the climb is a rewarding view at the summit.

Iwi slams Craggy Range over walkway on Te Mata Peak
The verbal barbs over a controversial walking track on an iwi landmark have reached a new level. Ngāti Kahungunu leader Ngahiwi Tomoana has blasted craggy range wine owners for reneging as it's now seeking a way to keep the track open on Te Mata Peak. He also goes on to slam 'racist' attitudes in the community. And as Te Okiwa McLean reports, the sentiments are expressed in an open letter that has been widely circulated.

Te Mata Peak is a peak south of Hastings (in the Hawke's Bay region of New Zealand.) A sealed road leads to the popular lookout at the summit, as well as several trails for hikers and mountain bikers. The Hastings suburb of Havelock North is built on the slopes of the peak.
As the highest peak in the area, it offers views over the Heretaunga Plains, and Hawke's Bay, including Napier. On a clear day, the view stretches as far as Mount Ruapehu and Mahia Peninsula.
