Barton Hills - Barton Springs - Bedfordshire, England
This video records a circular walk across Barton Hills in Bedfordshire, England, and finishes at Barton Springs at the foot of the chalk Hills.
The Barton Hills walk is very popular with walkers, picnickers and dog owners, as the video shows. It is also an area which is rich in wildlife. In fact, parts of the area are a nature reserve and designated an area of special scientific interest. During summer months Dartmoor ponies are brought to the hills to graze.

Barton & Pegsdon Hills - Walk ID: 2877
Pegsdon and Barton Hills are an example of chalk downland and offer stunning views over Bedfordshire.
The Barton Hills are believed to be John Bunyan's 'Delectable Mountains' in The Pilgrim's Progress. The Wildlife Trust and English Nature manage the two nature reserves, with their spectacular steep slopes and chalk valleys. The woodlands and streams offer rare flowers and butterflies not usually seen in other parts of Bedfordshire.
The walk starts and finishes in the village of Hexton next to the Raven Pub, nestled in a favourable position below the remains of the hill-fort of Ravensburgh Castle. The latter is viewed from a distance and is striking for its commanding position, although all that remains are earth mounds and thick tree growth. It all adds to an almost dark, supernatural air to the surroundings. The hills make this one of the most exciting walks in Bedfordshire.

Walks in England: Exploring the RSPB Headquarters in Sandy, Bedfordshire.
Today I am in Sandy in Bedfordshire at the RSPB Headquarters in search of The Lodge. I am with Simon and Sharon Brown. My guides take me for a walk along the open heath and woodland in search of an iron age hill fort, an abandoned sand quarry and the Victorian house, affectionately called The Lodge which these days house the offices of the Royal Society of the Protection for Birds.

Incredible views from Whiteleaf Cross Hill in the Chiltern Hills
I had heard so much about the Whiteleaf Cross Hill, the summit and including the surrounding area that I had to explore the area. Fantastic terrain in the Chiltern Hills for hiking and mountain biking, and spending a little family time on the famous Chilterns hilltop.
SUBSCRIBE! ►
The Whiteleaf Hill is a nature reserve providing amazing panoramic views over the Vale of Aylesbury and beyond towards the Wessex Downs. I was lucky enough to get a clear day and in the distance, the Wessex Downs was visible for me to see. The infamous hiking trail, Ridgeway National Trail, passes through the area and is definitely a picnic stop for those hiking this 85 mile linear trail.

swcwalks swcwalk 229, Leagrave to Harlington. 2/9/17.
This was another very pleasant 14.4 mile walk in Central Beds and the very North Western corner of Hertfordshire. The initial walking, close to the towers of the Marsh Farm estate and the source of the River Lee, is not so enticing, but after a section along the banks of the Lee, the walker is soon up on the lofty Warden Hill, looking over Luton.
Thereafter, this is a walk of great views from fine chalk escarpments and down land, through ancient woodlands, following ancient tracks, like the Icknield Way. There's a visit to a nature reserve, with springs, in the afternoon, prior to some field edge walking to the hill-top village of Harlington.
Another excellent day's walking, spoilt only by a rather hazardous crossing of a very busy A6; take care at this point!
Barton Springs
Barton Springs. Beautiful spot at the Northern end of the Chiltern's where a clear chalk stream erupts from the Hills in a series of small waterfalls.

Look Over Lilley - WWID: 2833
A beautiful 14KM walk taking in some panoramic views across Bedfordshire and Luton town. One for a clear day!!
A Correction:
The video states the walk duration is 5h 30m! Actually that was an error, sorry! Walk duration is about 3h 40mins (with the Hoo Bit detour).

Stockport County F.C.
Stockport County Football Club is a semi-professional football club in Stockport, Greater Manchester, England. Formed in 1883 as Heaton Norris Rovers, the team adopted their name in 1890 after the County Borough of Stockport. They have played at Edgeley Park since 1902, traditionally in blue and white, and are nicknamed The Hatters after the town's former hat-making industry.
Stockport County joined the Football League in 1900 and competed in it continuously from 1905 to 2011. The team spent most of their history in the lower reaches of the Football League, but the 1990s were more successful with the club competing in the First Division for five seasons; however, instability on and off the pitch eventually led to Stockport falling back to the lower divisions. They are currently the longest surviving Football League team to drop out of the league, having played in the league for a total of 110 years. The club started the 2011–12 season in the Conference National, having been relegated from Football League Two at the end of 2010–11. At the end of 2012–13, Stockport were relegated to the Conference North.

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.
