Adnams Beer from the Coast
The completed edition of my Adnams advert. I was a City College Norwich student when I made this 5 years ago. Please feel free to write feedback.
Adnams beer has become famous around the UK for it's 'beer from the coast' branding. Adnams beers are a signature of Southwold and the surrounding towns, which also take pride in the local drink.
Broadside, Adnams Bitter and Explorer are the frequent brews with many other seasonal beers enjoyed throughout the year.
Many of the brewery's beers are found as both cask ales and bottled beers.

FISONS DERELICT FERTILISER FACTORY PART 1. IPSWICH, SUFFOLK.
HISTORY OF THE FACTORY.
The wooden warehouses of Bramfords Fisons Factory are thought to the largest and most endangered listed buildings in Suffolk. Fisions was based there until its closure in 2003. This iconic factory was first developed between 1851 and 1854 for the production of Super Phosphate fertiliser for agricultural use by Packards.
Having been sat empty and left for the last 15 years this dilapidated and crumbling site has unfortunately been a target for vandals and has fallen victim to many large fires over the years. But that may all be set to change in the very near future with plans to turn the site into a housing and business park, retaining the grade II listed wooden warehouses turning it into a heritage asset and an icon of Suffolk's industrial past.
UPDATE. Unfortunately on the 6th of May 2019 the original Victorian factory building was subject to an enormous fire that has destroyed the building. No doubt this beautiful Grade II listed building now awaits complete demolition. This is one of the main reasons we put our efforts into making these videos, to document historic places before they are inevitably lost forever..

We left the airport A.Canova Treviso to London. At Stansted airport our friends Martin and Jan picked us up and we have hosted in their home to Lindsey in Suffolk. From here begins our tour to discover ancient picturesque villages and rich history. Aldeburgh, a lovely seaside town that overlooks the ocean in the north; Bury St.Edmunds and its cathedral where he signed the Magna Carta; Lavenham with The Crooked House tea room so picturesque as old; Monks Eleigh with its quaint cottages and the old church. In all this has never lacked the beer.
The Town Cryer
During our week in Southwold Suffolk in September this year (2012) we were lucky enough to see the Town Cryer advertising a farmers market. This man has been doing the job for 36 years, hence the croaky voice!

My Adnams Brewery Playlist below:
Adnams Brewery:
Behind the walls of our Victorian-looking brewery, we’ve got some of the most advanced and energy-efficient brewing equipment in Europe. We’re proud of our long history of brewing, and we are constantly experimenting with new, innovative techniques. We’ve developed a network of great friends all over the brewing world, and we’re keen to share our knowledge and learn from others too. Adnams brews a range of beers which reflect our heritage but also challenge conventions. Each one has its own unique and vibrant character that will appeal to drinkers who cherish individuality and seek out beers with personality and style. We use locally-grown East Anglian grains of malted barley, rye, wheat and oats wherever possible, and deploy a number of different hop varieties from Britain as well as across the world – all of which contribute to our beers’ individual characters.
