The Friends of Zion Museum opening ceremony was held on Sept. 8 in the square opposite the museum in the presence of Dr. Mike Evans, founder of the museum; former Israeli president Shimon Peres, who is the honorary International chairman of the museum; former Israeli army general Yossi Peled, and hundreds of supporters and friends of the museum.

he Friends of Zion (FOZ) Museum was opened in 2015 in the heart of Jerusalem with the help of thousands of supporters of Israel from all over the world. It presents a technologically advanced, interactive experience that tells the story of the dream of the restoration of the Jewish people to their historic homeland and the brave non-Jews who assisted them in the realization of that dream.
The Friends of Zion serves as a platform for fighting BDS and Anti-Semitism internationally. The Museum is a non-profit organization operating in Jerusalem and supported by friends from all over the world.
The Museum’s International Chairman of the Board is Former President Shimon Peres. The Museum’s Board of Trustees also includes Former Minister, Major General (Res.) Yossi Peled, the former Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. (Res.) Dan Halutz, the former Minister, Professor Yaakov Neeman, Major General (Res.) Danny Yatom, and many others.

Supporting the Zionist Dream
“If you will it, it is no dream”. Wrote Theodore Herzl, the father of the modern Jewish state, dreaming of the day it might become a reality.
No words could more clearly apply to the recent opening of the Friends of Zion Museum in Jerusalem. For centuries, the Biblical prophecies of Jews returning to their homeland seemed like only a distant dream, yet a dream remembered year after year with Jews repeating the promise “next year in Jerusalem”.
Supporting this dream for a homeland throughout history have stood Christian Zionists who, courageously stood with, nurtured, and, in many cases, sacrificed their lives protecting the Jewish people.
Although there is an increasing awareness in Israel of the historic support of those non-Jewish Friends, many remain unaware of these Christian heroes such as Corrie Ten Boom whose father gave his life to save God’s Chosen People and those who helped establish the present-day state of Israel.
The Friends of Zion Museum exists to tell their story.

A Jerusalem Parade at the FOZ Museum!
Brazil, Thailand, China, Norway, Australia, Kenya, Fiji, Cameroon, South Africa, US , representatives from all four corners of the earth join together in song and dance for the colorful Jerusalem Parade. Many wearing their Friend of Zion bracelet after being already at the new interactive Friends of Zion Museum and tour. The Museum welcomes visitors from all around the world with the tour available in 15 different languages! Many of our visitors at the time of Sukkot came straight from the Feast of Tabernacles, Israel supporters and Friends of Zion that choose to stand beside Israel and celebrate the colorful holiday!

International Jerusalem Leaders' Summit at the Friends of Zion Museum
The International Jerusalem Leaders Summit brought together a distinguished group of dignitaries from around the world, who visited the Friends of Zion Museum in order to experience for the first time the museum’s outstanding tour. The group was led by the summit's founders Joel Anand Samy and Natasha Srdoc.
Among the dignitaries were members of the EU Parliament from the UK, Sweden and the Czech Republic, President of National Religious Broadcasters Dr. Jerry A, Johnson, President of the People's Party in Belgium Mischaël Modrikamen, and Yasmine Dehaene, Executive Director of the Alliance for Direct Democracy in Europe (ADDE), as well as other members of the ADDE.
From New Zealand, Maurice McTigu, QSO, former Cabinet Minister and Ambassador of New Zealand to Canada; from the US: Becky Norton Dunlop, VP of the Heritage Foundation and former Director of the White House Cabinet (under President Reagan), joined by George Dunlop, Chairman at Cobiscorp and Former Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army, US Department of Defense.
The guests toured the museum for an hour and a half, enjoying the impression lounge cafe and gift shop, some even blowing the shofar (rams horn), before starting the museum tour in two separate groups, enjoying guided tours in English and well as French.
