LEAD IN:
Yorkshire has a long history of cheese-making - but while Wensleydale and Teesdale cheeses might give the region renown, squeaky semi-hard cheeses consumed in the Middle East are rare.
But now one local firm is becoming known for producing just that - despite its founder being a cheesemaking novice when she fled war-torn Syria.

BBC - The Secret History of the British Garden (2015) Part 1: 17th-century
Monty Don explores the fascinating history and evolution of the British garden, from the seventeenth century through to the modern day.
Part 1: 17th-century
Monty Don uncovers the extraordinary stories behind Britain's 17th-century gardens. Starting his journey at the sole surviving garden of the 1600s - Levens Hall in Cumbria - Monty sets out to investigate what the gardens of this age would have looked like and what influenced and inspired their creation. Along the way, he sees a long-lost garden that - through archaeology and a German Luftwaffe photograph taken in the 1940s - reveals the hidden messages and religious beliefs of our 17th-century forebears. And Monty heads to Hampton Court, where politics, civil war and religious conflict played a key role in the evolving designs and fashions, including tastes in food, of the nation's finest gardens.

Cannabis Light: High CBD, Low THC. A New Hype? | Cannabis News Network
Cannabis Light is the latest cannabis hype coming out of Europe, where several countries have loopholes allowing the growth and sale of cannabis containing low THC (usually less than 1%) and high CBD levels. It’s already big business.
The loopholes were only discovered a couple years ago. Switzerland was the first country in 2016 to decriminalize cannabis with less than 1% THC as a tobacco substitute.
Italy would follow quickly when a law regulating hemp production went into effect. Originally designed for industrial hemp, the Italian government however, forgot to regulate the hemp flowers.
The difference between Switzerland and Italy mainly being Cannabis Light is regulated as tobacco in Switzerland, while in Italy Cannabis Light cannot be ‘smoked or eaten’.
To really understand the green wave Cannabis Light is producing, we went on a road trip to Cannabis Light farms in Switzerland and Italy.

Vegetables and herbs flourish under a new scheme for gardeners in London
SHOTLIST
London, 6th August 2008

2. Close up picking tomato
3. Tilt down courgette flower and courgette
4. Close up corn growing
5. Close up Kate Swatridge handling chilli on it's stem
6. Tilt down rhubarb plant
7. Pan hanging basket to rhubarb plant
8. SOUNDBITE (English) Kate Swatridge, 'Food Up Front' organiser
Food Up Front is an urban food growing network based in south London. What we're trying to do is encourage people and help them top have a go at growing something edible in whatever outdoor space they've got whether it's back garden, front garden, balconies or even just on window sills you can actually grow something tasty to eat.
9. Close up tomatoes
10. Close up of flowering plant
11. Close up herbs growing in pots
12. Close up chilli pepper
13. SOUNDBITE (English) Kate Swatridge, 'Food Up Front' organiser
It's a membership scheme so households join the scheme for 20, they receive a container for growing their salad leaves in, bag of compost and of course the seeds. We've got lettuce, coriander, spinach and rocket. They also receive a simplified instruction manual because very often gardening books and seed packets can seem quite daunting if you haven't grown anything before. And what brings it all together is that we've got a network of volunteers who are prepared to help you to sow your seeds, answer questions about how often to water and generally just hold you hand along the way
16. Wideshot pan towards house on a a busy road
17. Wideshot pan Alban Gaspard, 'Food Up Front' member coming out of house to water plants
18. Tilt down strawberry plant on window sill
19. Alban Gaspard, 'Food Up Front' member watering plants
20. Close up shot mint
21. SOUNDBITE (English) Albane Gaspard, 'Food Up Front' member
So this is mint which is great for mint tea, you have parsley here for salads, coriander and chives. That's quite easy to grow and you can collect it really quickly and you have tomatoes here with basil at the bottom, rocket and spinach.
22. Various close ups of rocket, spinach and herbs
23. SOUNDBITE (English) Albane Gaspard, 'Food Up Front' member
The other social benefits I'd say it's about meeting people that have the same interests as you. I had no idea that so many people in my area wanted to grow food and were so enthusiastic about doing it so it's quite good to meet and you swap tips and you swap crops as well. That's one of the major benefits.
24. Various packets of 'Food Up Front' seeds
25. SOUNDBITE (English) Kate Swatridge, 'Food Up Front' organiser
It's our first year of running the project and we've been amazed at how popular its been. We've got over 230 households signed up across south London and we've got more than fifty volunteers who are ready to help people so we've got potential to take on a few more members as well if other people want to join.
26. Wide pan of St. James's Park allotment to row of cabbages
27. Midshot of visitors looking at crops
28. Midshot of visitors seen through artichoke plants

Cannabis Could Save Her Daughters But the UK Won't Help
Transcription
Doctor Frank: Hey guys. Dr. Frank here. Another episodeof Cannabis is Medicine. We’ve got two guests on the show tonight. First is Kelly O’Neil, a woman whose two daughters have been suffering from epilepsy for the past 20 years and she’s been fighting like heck to get access to medical cannabis and medicinal cannabis oil, as well as Phil Monk who runs an organization called WTU [We the Undersigned], and they’re fighting to claim that denying some of the right to obtain cannabis oil is essentially an abrogation of someone’s human rights let’s see what they have to say.
Doctor Frank: Hi guys good evening. Now Phil you you run or you are organized as “WTU” . What is “WTU”?
Phil Monk: It was a bit of an accident in a nutshell Frank. I’ve been a therapeutic cannabis consumer well since I was 16 but aware of it for the last four years and an active campaigner. About 12 weeks ago there were lots in the British media about little Alfie, Marie, Billy all these little children that we know that are suffering and obviously cannabis oil. And I got a bee in my bonnet because I’ve always felt it’s against my human rights to deny me access to this herbal remedy.
So I decided to write to every human rights solicitor in the United Kingdom to ask them if they thought I had a case and if they’d help me fight it. And then, in the last moment, I decided I was involved with other reform groups to invite other members if they wanted to undersign to this letter I was sending to all of these solicitors. So I was taking my daughter to Taekwondo and I quickly fired out the message to everybody and by the time I got back there’s a couple of hundred responses and 12 weeks later we’ve got over 3,000 these people now that kind of believed the same thing. there’s what We The Undersigned is asking for which, in a nutshell, would be freedom and equality with the toxic recreational drug consumers of alcohol.
We should have the same protections in the law as they have, we should have the same freedoms and law as they have and this inequality in society – I would like to challenge that. So that was how it all started really and it’s been a very busy 12 weeks since I had that little idea and it’s been quite momentous. I’ve met yourself in Parliament in the ‘Cannabis is Medicine’ conference, which is a great honor, and it’s been quite a whirlwind really and a lot of changes happening so let’s see what’s going on now.
Doctor Frank: Well there’s a lot happening. Obviously the meeting in Parliament was wonderful. Now Kelly, didn’t meet you there, but from what I understand you have a story that needs
to be told. A story that, if it doesn’t break your heart, then you don’t have one. And so there are times when I love to hear myself talk, but I think Kelly this is one of those moments we’d really like to hear you talk and I’m just gonna give you the floor. Would you please tell us a little about yourself and your experience with cannabis as medicine?

Questions & Answers 227 - Cardiac Neurosis, Mucus, Carey Reams, Stress
Questions & Answers 227
05:03 - Johny - I have been watching your youtube videos in hope to find an answer to my Cardiac Neurosis and it seems as there are none on that topic. Please if it is not asking too much, make a video or include me in your Q&A. What herbs can I take to heal this?
12:06 - Amon -- I am a 25-year-old male with an active lifestyle. I have been on the quest to fixing my own issues and need a solution. I constantly have to cough up mucus from my throat whenever I finish eating and have clogged sinuses whenever I eat certain foods, which has been a nightmare for the past year. I believe I am lactose intolerant and try to remove all dairy products out of my diet, but somehow I cannot stop this constant phlegm.
21:40 - Dr. Paula -- I would really appreciate your opinion of the Carey Reams Biological Theory of Ionization. Carey Reams was a contemporary of Bernard Jensen. Reams was really an agrarian who believed that the human body was terrain, much like soil, and needed to be in balance minerally in order to elicit perfect health. This was accomplished by analyzing the urine and saliva for PH, nitrogen content, sugar content, dissolved solids, and can be quite complicated.
36:41 - Pras -- I am a 29-year-old male from United Kingdom, with the help of your teachings and herbs/gland formulas, I have fully recovered from lifelong chronic asthma and eczema. Wooohoo! I was on daily albuterol inhalers and used steroids cream daily. Now I am on no medications at all.
45:30 - Aaron -- Thank you so much for what you do everyday. My family and I have learned so much over the last couple of years and attribute that to you and your teaching. Everything I've learned myself is because my wife found you in her quest to find her own health and healing, which is why I write to you today.
First I would like to give you a little bit of history on our specific situation. I am in the army, and have been for almost 14 years now. I have deployed 4 times in the past, and the requirement to be away from my family never slows down, which has given me my own set of issues dealing with constant stress. And, as you can imagine, eating healthy in the army is not an easy task. The idea of processed and packaged food was invented by the military to be able to feed the soldiers during WWII, and they haven't slowed one bit. Neither has the training. Because of that, we struggle immensely.
This stress is what my main concern is. As the military is slowly being degraded, I find it harder and harder to separate myself and leave the stress on base. So I bring it home....every single day. This stress and constantly being apart has taken its toll on our marriage to the point where there isn't much of a relationship anymore as much as there are two people living together, which creates its own stress, and it all snowballs from there. These are the things I want to fix.
This all compounds the deep depression and anxiety issues my wife is battling now. Its to the point that she is never relaxed, her nerves are always pinging from even the smallest amount of stress, which these days can also trigger a migraine headache for her. Reading your book, and listening to your videos we know there are some adrenal / parathyroid issues, on top of the standard kidney issues with stagnant lymph in the head and neck area. However, I'm worried that there will not be any real healing as long as the stress is constant, and that we're wasting time buying and taking the herbs. She has been on the fab 4 for a while (as much as our income will allow) along with a short time of some glandulars. Her diet is pretty good, but not as good as it could be. Mornings are usually started with a warm cup of distilled water with fresh lemon juice and a little syrup to sweeten it. The rest of the day is fruit, and a salad for dinner (dinner is usually where we usually slip up and eat something we shouldn't). With that, what would you recommend for her to help ease some of this so she can continue to get healthy?
Also, I would like to know about giving a glandular to children. Our son is 11 years old and has been taking herbs for about a year now. Knowing now that my wife and I weren't the healthiest when he was born tells me he may need the same glandular kick that we do, but we worry about giving him more than his body can handle.
Thank you so much for everything you've done for people like us. You've given us so much priceless information and a ticket to a better life that could never be repaid. Your staff is awesome too. I've called down there several times to get advice, and it's hard these days to find people that actually want to help.
