Jordanian King Abdullah in Singapore for his third state visit
At the invitation of President Halimah Yacob, Jordan's King Abdullah II is in for his third state visit. On June 19, King Abdullah visited the Singapore Armed Forces Commandos at Pasir Ris Camp. He was accompanied by Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen. King Abdullah will also deliver the keynote address at the International Conference on Cohesive Societies on June 20.

I spoke at a Heritage Foundation event in New York City in April 2019. Genevieve Wood and I discussed reasons for the apparently increasing attractiveness of socialist ideas in America and the (countervailing) importance and meaningful of personal responsibility, as well as considering why communicating that import appears to be appealing to such a large number of people.

INS | A Rich Heritage - James & Denise Jordan
Every year in September, a boat with 60 students from all over the world lands on the shores of Orama on Great Barrier Island, New Zealand. They have come to join the INS | The Journey of Sonship. What has made them decide to literally travel to the end of the world?
Not many are aware of the incredible rich heritage of this remote community centre in the New Zealand wilderness. Both YWAM and Fatherheart Ministries have their origins here, having touched thousands of lives all around the world. Those who have joined the INS in previous years can testify that today, Orama continues to be a place of new beginnings.

The Crystal Meth Epidemic Plaguing Fresno
Fresno is experiencing a meth epidemic.
Located in California’s Central Valley, the city is a hub for many major highways and is surrounded by vast farmlands. And while now, most meth is smuggled from Mexico, the valley was once an ideal location for meth manufacturing labs in the 1990's.
Today, methamphetamine is the number one threat for the Central Valley Drug Task Force, and, because latinos make up half of Fresno's population, they are also being affecting by this epidemic.
VICE's Paola Ramos traveled to Fresno to explore the history, factors and the ongoing relationship between the Latino community and methamphetamine use.
