90 Years in 90 Seconds – What the Queen means to the people of Worcestershire
Residents from across the county were asked to record a 90 second video of themselves about what the Queen means to them, for a special archive project supported by Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology Service and Media Archives Central England. Help was on hand in Worcestershire's libraries for anyone wanting to take part but without the technology or skills needed.
The project is still ongoing – anyone wishing to take part can send their video in to 90SecondVideo@worcestershire.gov.uk All of the videos collected will be held in the archives for years to come.

This Column Could... at The Hive, Worcester
From Monday 13th May 2013 to Monday 2oth May 2013 my installation 'This Column Could...' will be on the 3rd floor of The Hive, Worcester's new joint University and Public Library.
When we become immersed in books and on computers, it is easy to forget the magnificence of this building. Columns support The Hive's structure as the library supports our reading and learning, and my work is founded upon the observation, as a Worcester University student, that this support embraces the visionary and the creative as well as the academic and the practical. In reflection of the times, the work also explores how even in austerity we can discover moments of imaginative flight, escape and playfulness.
The four works have been upcycled from magazines read and discarded by users of The Hive, processed by hand in a Worcestershire garden into sheets of paper and incised with words that simultaneously allude to the particular location of each column and the bee metaphors that are to be found throughout the building.
