Carlisle Branch Of Brewdog Officially Opens To Queue Of Customers
The newest branch of the craft beer chain Brewdog opened in Carlisle on Friday and many people queued up ahead of time.
Customers were anxious to try the drinks on offer and find out if the Cumbrian beer scene will be represented on the bar.
Managers say that they are enthusiastic to get local breweries involved in their guest list.

Inside the original 'Frontline' cafe for the Afro-Caribbean community in Bradford, West Yorkshire, UK - featured in the Channel 4 programme 'Manningham Diaries' 1995 (This is from the original video tape & a clearer copy that the version I dropped a few years ago)...........this was Bradford's main meeting place for Afro-Caribbean youths and men - located in Lumb Lane, Bradford - sadly the cafe closed in 2000 - after it was attacked by a 100- strong mob of Pakistani-Muslim youths and resulted in the death of 27-year old Dexter Coleman (RIP)- who died of gunshot wounds - check out the story here :

This is footage of a sustained and prolonged assault in Carlisle city centre.
Involved were three siblings attacking two men and one woman following a 30th birthday party.
The three siblings were jailed for just under 20 years collectively.

The UK Railtours Blue Belle on the Bluebell Railway
On Maundy Thursday, 28 March 2013 UK Railtours ran the Blue Belle from London Victoria to Sheffield Park. This is the first direct train since 1963. Here is a short film of our day out on this historical trip and shows some Class 73 activity on the Bluebell Railway during the day.
