#22 • RVing AMERICA WITH HOLLY & HARVEY • Alaskan Salmon Bake and Show
The show recognized by the Alaska Visitor's Association and thousands of satisfied patrons every summer since 1986 as The Number One Show Throughout Alaska and Canada.
Good as Gold!Performed by a polished, professional cast, The Golden Heart Revue, features music and lyrics by Fairbanks composer Jim Bell, and book by Timothy Ames, William Arnold, Richard Ussery and Steve Arthur. The show is performed nightly at 8:15pm in the Palace Theatre in Gold Rush Town in Pioneer Park in Fairbanks. The performance season opens in mid-May with shows nightly through mid-September.
We finished our wonderful trip to Alaska by visiting Pioneer Park and having dinner at the Salmon Bake. The setting is great and the food very good. Salmon cooked on an open grill, prime rib, king crab, and cod were all you could eat. The salad bar was fine and soda and ice tea were included. The staff was very efficient and friendly. A little hint, take the Blue Bus line there and if you are 60 or over, it is free to ride.

Alaska Is An Eagle from Alaska Cabin Nite Dinner Theatre 2014
Just outside the gates to Denali National Park in Alaska lies a microcosm of tourism that brings thousands of employees, entertainers and travelers to one small area to enjoy the beauty of the ark's animals, plants and vistas. Some of these tourists are fortunate enough to spend an evening with Fanny Quigley and her friends over a hearty meal and some real heart. This song originally written t draw the Olympics to Alaska captures what it means to be overwhelmed by this singular place.

Chena Hot Springs Ice Museum
We took a drive up to Chena Hot Springs and did an Ice Museum Tour. Here's a short video of the inside. It's really a *cool* place (pun intended). You can get an appletini in a glass made of ice too (extra charge). The cost of admission to the Ice Museum is $15 (2012) and an appletini will set you back another $15.
