Boy Catches Shark Next to Garden City Pier - Myrtle Beach, SC
While on vacation I walked up as a young boy landed a decent sized shark next to the Garden City Pier in Garden City, SC...which is in the Myrtle Beach area.
According to folks on the pier, he fought it for a little over a half hour (by himself) before landing it.
With a little help he was able to remove the hook and release it.
Pretty cool catch, in my opinion.

Myrtle Beach SC Hurricane Dorian Damage Report - Day After Driving Down Ocean Blvd
After Hurricane Dorian in Myrtle Beach South Carolina tour showing storm damage. Hurricane Dorian was offshore the Myrtle Beach South Carolina area during the storm and did not make landfall here. I shot the video the day after to report any local damage. I did the same video the day before the storm when it was a ghost town and this is a follow-up video after the storm. Let’s take a drive down Ocean Blvd and a walkout on the beach. If you watch the weather channel or the local news, you would think this hurricane did terrible damage and destruction to Myrtle Beach, but see for yourself. There was a tornado that touched down in North Myrtle with some minor damage and also some damage to a community in North Carolina. North Carolina seems to get hit a lot probably because it sticks out further in the ocean and hooks the storms. This video gives you an idea of what really happened. Big news on the hurricane was someone “smart” drove their Jeep on the beach and got it stuck, and then the ocean waves took it out to sea. In this video, you will see the Myrtle Beach police as they pull the vehicle out of the ocean onto dry land and damage to the vehicle. Hurricane Dorian was a category 2 hurricane. This storm did very little damage other than a few signs and trees down in Myrtle Beach.
