British Model Railway Layout “Thornbury Hill” in OO gauge with Cab Ride along the Main Line
When Pilentum was at the wonderful model railway exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham, Warley Model Train Show, he was warmly welcomed by the Burgess Hill Model Railway Club and its members of the Thornbury Hill Owners Group. We had a good time playing with the model trains, we filmed many scenes and we made a cab ride video along the main line.
The Thornbury Hill model railway layout began life in 1970 as the main OO gauge layout of the Burgess Hill MRC. In March 1986, the model railroad layout was described in the “Railway Modeller Magazine”. The layout model, set in the 1930’s - just prior to the main line electrification - was intended to represent a section of the London Victoria - Brighton mainline. It was not intended to represent a particular station.
In 1991 the layout was sold to the present owners, who added the third rail and moved the period forward to the 1960’s, which allows using steam, diesel and electric trains. After the reconstruction, the layout depicts Thornbury Hill station with the four track main line merging into two, a goods yard and a non-electrified branch line. The track is to OO fine scale standards and is hand built; the signals are all operational and interlocked with the points. The station buildings are based on London, Brighton & South Coast Railway designs, with the canopies copied from East Croydon and the signal boxes based on the prototypes at Eastbourne and Seaford.
On the model railway layout there is an intensive service of main line and suburban electric trains supplemented by steam or diesel hauled goods, parcels and special trains. The layout requires eight operators and requires a space 41 feet by 9 feet in total.

Momo and the Inevitable Decay of the house in the forest
At Edinburgh Fringe @Thespace North Bridge Fife Theatre from August 2nd -10th 2019. Original music by Joseph Cherry. Video by Nicolai Suphammer. Direction by Kirsti Heitmann. Get your tickets at:
Momo is a coming-of-age story meets a Scandinavian crime drama. We are transported from the eerie Finnish forest of Ellie’s childhood to present day England, where a presumed imaginary friend resurfaces, with dangerous implications. In a childish yet dark landscape peopled with mythological and strange forces, the play challenges our trust in familial love as an unconditional force, and blurs the lines between reality and imagination. It’s the story of a child struggling to find her place amid adults driven by destructive desires and loneliness.

Places to see in ( Waterlooville - UK )
Waterlooville is a town in Hampshire, England, approximately 8 miles north of Portsmouth. The town is surrounded by Purbrook, Blendworth, Cowplain, Lovedean, Clanfield, Catherington, Crookhorn, Denmead, Hambledon, Horndean and Widley. It forms part of the South Hampshire conurbation. The town formed around the old A3 London to Portsmouth road. Waterlooville is twinned with Maurepas, Yvelines in France and Henstedt-Ulzburg in Germany.
The main shopping precinct is served by First Hampshire & Dorset bus routes 7/X7, 8, The X9 route has been discontinued and replaced by the D1 and D2 service which runs from Hambledon and Denmead and goes to Waterlooville town centre, and Stagecoach South services 37 and 39. The A3 Bus Corridor priority route (constructed between 2003–2007) serves the town. As of 2006, the shopping precinct is closed to all road traffic other than buses.
The nearest train station is located in Bedhampton and is on the main train route between London and Portsmouth. For a time, South West Trains provided a direct bus link to Petersfield railway station via Horndean, enabling quick access to fast London-bound trains, but now the link to Petersfield is Stagecoach service 37 via Clanfield. Havant railway station is served by Stagecoach service 39, and stations in Portsmouth by First services 7/X7, 8 and X9. For westbound trains the station at Cosham, served by the local bus services, is on the line between Portsmouth and Fareham, with regular trains to Southampton and Cardiff.
According to local legend, many of them settled there. There is no proof of this assertion. The pub was thereafter renamed in their honour and the area around the pub became known as Waterlooville. The original Heroes pub was at a crossroads near the main bus-stop. It was demolished in 1966 and replaced with a bank; a new pub took the same name and is located at the northern end of the shopping precinct.
Near the town centre is the rebuilt St George's church. During the 1950s and 1960s the surrounding area saw extensive growth in housing, when large suburban public and private housing estates were constructed. This resulted in the original Victorian church failing to cope with the population growth. Plans for a new church were started and in 1970 the new church was built on the site of the old church. Parts of the old church were retained.
( Waterlooville - UK ) is well know as a tourist destination because of the variety of places you can enjoy while you are visiting the city of Waterlooville . Through a series of videos we will try to show you recommended places to visit in Waterlooville - UK

It included a variety of games, performed by contestants between the ages of 10 and 13. In the first series, the lift was played by David Walliams, who later starred in Little Britain

Agnes & Nancy White Water Rafting - two friends with a sense of adventure!
After attending several of our residential-based breaks, prominent dementia activist Nancy McAdam, who lives with dementia, let slip that one of her ambitions was to go white water rafting! Our team simply couldn’t resist that challenge, so this August we took Nancy and her great friend Agnes Houston to Morayshire on the north-east coast of Scotland - a place the two were already familiar with and very fond of, to raft the Findhorn. Based at The Loft Activity Centre, and staying in timber ‘wigwams’, they enjoyed a week of activities including a walk on Roseisle beach, yoga sessions, picking produce in the kitchen garden, dolphin watching, visiting Kinloss Abbey, and of course, the rafting! As you can see from the pictures, the weather was kind on the Costa del Moray!
Agnes is keen on preserving her memories through photos, but at Roseisle she asked our adventure leader, Jesse Reed, to record the sounds of the beach so she could revisit that moment another time. What stood out from this trip was the number of activities the ladies could take part in. “Because everything was so well organised in advance, Agnes and Nancy didn’t have to put any of their energies into this aspect of the holiday. This gave them so much more opportunity to engage with people and activities and simply do things that they would not normally have been able to do”, said Jesse. Agnes was also accompanied by her daughter, Donna, who enjoyed the trip enormously!

At Night, This Bus Doubles As a Homeless Shelter | Short Film Showcase
Line 22 is the only bus route that runs 24 hours a day in Silicon Valley. At night, homeless people have made it their informal shelter in an effort to avoid sleeping on the street. This situation is in stark contrast with the image filmmaker Elizabeth Lo had of Silicon Valley, which is why, in the course of a week, she joined them on the bus line. Hotel 22 is a poignant Op-Doc video that captures a crude reality of homelessness that may have gone unseen.
