Irish music at the Prince of Wales pub, Moseley, Birmingham - Tues 3rd June 2013 -part 2
Every Tuesday night between 10pm and 11pm a group of local Irish musicians play in the front bar of the Prince of Wales pub.
From their view this is a chance to play music together, from the rest of the pub viewpoint it's a free wonderful gig.
The music isn't loud - you can still have a conversation. It isn't on a stage in the distance - you can sit right next to them and get the full ambiance. It's just like any pub in the countryside of Ireland....and it is here in Moseley

Prince of Wales Cocktail - Gastrotv
Prince of Wales – Gregor Scholl - Rum Trader – Franz Brandl – Gourmet Mix Guide 1982
Cheers and shake it well, Ihr Gastro TV
Prince of Wales – Gregor Scholl - Rum Trader – Franz Brandl – Gourmet Mix Guide 1982
This champagne cocktail can be traced back to Albert Edward Prince of Wales, who later became King Edward VII. His relationship with his mother, Queen Victoria, has been traditionally difficult, which might be a reason why he evolved into a bon vivant, a decent drinker and a great mixologist.
Very Appropriately, he began his enthronement-speech with a sentence which would have been unimaginable during the lifetime of his mother: “Gentlemen, you may smoke”- a sentence which also Mister Scholl felt obliged to, when he successfully fought for the loosening of the smoking ban in Federal Constitutional Court. For this reason, there is no better place for having a Prince of Wales, as described in Franz Brandl´s Gourmet Mix Guide 1982, than at the Rum Trader, Berlin´s eldest and internationally most renowned bar, celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. This fruity, dry and at the same time fresh champagne cocktail presented on Gastro TV, ensures a good start of a priceless night in the tradition of the Prince of Wales.
Cheers and shake it well, Ihr Gastro TV
