Brymbo Hall, Wrexham
Brymbo Hall - The house, reputed to have been partly built to the designs of Inigo Jones, was noted as the residence of 18th-century industrialist and ironmaster John Iron-Mad Wilkinson.
A local story said the house, and the road leading to it, was haunted by a grey lady supposed to be the ghost of Jane Wynn, who lived there alone in the 18th century, following the death of her husband

Village Public House in Church Eaton Staffordshire
Church Eaton, Staffordshire, England
Advert Ref: 3307
Business Description
Preferred Commercial is delighted to offer for sale this popular village public house, which was established in 1950 and which has been in our client's careful hands since 2005. The business is only now being placed on the market due to our client's wish for a career change. The Royal Oak operates at a pace to suit our client, 7 days a week as a free of tie public house with a 36 cover restaurant and generates a turnover in the region of £208,000 per annum with a gross profit of 58%. The pub is very much at the heart of the community and offers regular themed nights, including quiz nights and fish & chip nights. The pub offers a range of real ales and has been a part of CAMRA for the past 6 years. There is a quality web site in place, which gives information about the pub, entertainment and menus. Our client also offers a fish & chip takeaway service every Friday, which has proved popular. We feel a new owner could increase turnover by perhaps, extending the opening hours, starting a pool team and embarking on a modest marketing campaign. There is 2-bedroom owners' accommodation to the first floor. We are advised that the business benefits from 100% rates relief. We feel this is an ideal opportunity to acquire a thriving and popular public house, which is at the heart of the local community and with scope for future growth. Early discussions with Preferred Commercial must come highly recommended.

Carp Fishing - Growing Baby Carp - Giving Nature A Helping Hand
From Little Acorns, Mighty Oak Trees Grow
One of my favourite things to do each summer is collect spawn from the lake and try to grow a few little carp. I popped some spawn into a little pool up at the top of the lake, nothing more than a ditch really and I couldnt wait to see if nature had worked it's magic........
One day I hope these will grow into the next generation of beautiful carp for anglers to admire along the way.
