The CGIs were created by Pixel Workshop using the latest software as used by Hollywood studios: 3DSMax along with Corona to achieve photo-real imagery. Each set is different but quite often the purpose of the cameo shots fall into one of three well defined categories. Either they are to highlight specific features or USPs, focus on detail to convey the quality finish of the property or are an opportunity to really communicate a lifestyle impression.
Once they know the objective artists can manipulate the camera position within the 3D model to achieve the correct framing. Lifestyle impressions are by far the most fun as they give artists leeway to imagine themselves in that space and play with interesting ideas on how to show this. Unlike photography they also have no restrictions on where we can or cannot place the camera allowing us to take shots from impossible positions such as through walls or suspended mid air.
Once the virtual camera is set they need to re-adjust the lighting to be perfect for that one moment in time. The virtual lighting rigs can be manipulated in every way imaginable to achieve the desired result.

British National Road Championships 2019 TT route
The chosen route for the National Road Championship Time Trial was not what I was expecting although does start in the grounds of the most famous stately home in Norfolk. The Sandringham estate covers 24 hectares of stunning gardens and will be an ideal spectator location for the race start/finish.
Check out my blog post to hear what I thought about the route!

Operational Service medals for 4 YORKS 18.05.12
The Duke of York has awarded operational medals to members of the 4th Battalion, The Yorkshire Regiment who have just returned from Afghanistan.
His Royal Highness attended a ceremony at York Racecourse, praising the TA Battalion for its support during Herrick 15.
Normally the crowds gather at the Racecourse to celebrate local racing heroes, here they gathered to celebrate their county's reservists.
The battalion was scattered across Helmand. The Duke awarded their service medals speaking at length to everyone about their different experiences on tour.
Out of more than thirty that deployed, all but one made it home. In November, 28 year old Private Matthew Thornton was killed whilst out on patrol in Babaji. His multiple came under contact, and he hit an IED whilst returning fire. The Battalion felt his loss deeply.
The whole racecourse paused to praise and applaud these soldiers and those regulars they deployed alongside. Their tour is now over, and so is their post tour leave. Many are back to work on Monday taking their medal and their memories with them.
1953 Standard Sanex / Vitriad HL Cistern
What a find! An old Standard Sanex pan similar to the Sanway with a rare Celmac seat, and a very rare Vitriad cistern made by Standard also. Flush is slightly hit and miss due to the ceramic syphon but still an interesting flush, very similar to a trimline and the trapway is similar to a Vitramid. I shall do a better video of this soon.

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.

SUMMARY
=======
The following is a list of seaplanes and amphibious aircraft, which includes floatplanes and flying boats, by country of origin.
Seaplanes are any aircraft that has the capability of landing on water while amphibious aircraft are equipped with wheels to alight on land, as well as being able to land on the water. Flying boats rely on the fuselage or hull for buoyancy, while floatplanes rely on external pontoons or floats. Some experimental aircraft used specially designed skis to skim across the water but did not always have a corresponding ability to float.
This list does not include ekranoplans, 'Wing-In-Ground-effect' (WIG), water-skimmers, wingships or similar vehicles reliant on ground effect.
