Stomping Nomads sing House of the Rising Sun at the Sussex Arms Twickenham
Our version of 'The House of the Rising Sun' performed at the Orchard Pig Cider and Sausage Festival at the Sussex Arms Twickenham September 2014: this early folk song revived by the Animals in the 1960s is considered by many to be the classic version. However previous recordings by Woody Guthrie, Leadbelly and Josh White influenced Lonnie Donegan who recorded it during the skiffle boom in Britain in the 1950s. It remains a classic song today.

The Wild Parakeets (Ringneck) of Hyde Park in London, U.K.
The parakeets will fly onto your hands, shoulders, head and arms if they see that you have food for them. At times, it can feel overwhelming but also lots of fun to have them all over you.
These parakeets actually look closer to the size of a small parrot, and I guess I'm thinking of the domesticated parakeets that I've seen. Perhaps in the wild, they simply grew larger. According to various websites, the official name for them is ring-necked parakeet (Psittacula krameri).

Prince Harry has been showing off his sporty side once again, this time playing rugby with kids at Twickenham Stadium. After meeting several notable guests, including England international player Jason Robinson, the prince joined in a training session put on by the Rugby Football Union, of which the prince is a patron. Wearing a white rugby top, Harry took to the pitch with school children who were taking part in the RFU's All Schools Programme. Later on, the prince took part in a kit-designing workshop, where he signed one of the strips. Report by Sophie Foster.
