Kingston Tett Centre Opening Tour of New Arts Space
A tour of the Kingston J.K. Tett Centre for Creativity and Learning a new arts and cultural heritage space located on the waterfront beside the Isabel Bader Performing Arts Centre. See Joe’s M.I.L.L.’s new location, the Kingston Handloom Weavers and Spinners, Kingston School of Dance, and the Modern Fuel Artist-Run Centre. Here's a peak at the cathedral style Malting Tower and Rehearsal Space now available for rent. Hear Chantal Thompson exploring the acoustics as she sings Oh Susanna. The Tett’s gorgeous limestone walls have been renovated from its original use as a brewery and distillery retaining classic stone lines and metal girders while inviting modern design and lighting.

GAGL presents AQUA VIVA
Join GAGL sculptor, Andy Berg, as she leads a hands-on clay-making workshop with the Kingston community to create a legacy wall sculpture to celebrate and honour our iconic Great Lakes!
First up is the Shoreline Discovery Walk on Wednesday, June 21 3-6pm (TOMORROW!) Departing from The TETT Creativity and Learning Centre, lead by Andy the group will intuitively walk the beach to gather objects that are both human made and nature made (like beaver sticks!). Document your findings and contribute gatherings for the legacy wall in sketch books.
On June 28th, The TETT will host the Clay Making Workshop. Participants will work with Andy to add special community elements in clay for the shall relief wall sculpture entitled Aqua Viva, which will be unveiled in late summer as part of the Ontario sesquicentennial celebrations.

LDSB Athena Movement Video Keynote Sophie Gregoire Trudeu
Students of LCVIs Athena Fellowship organized a on-day conference for young woman from across the Limestone District School Board to inspire positive behavioural change in our world.
The one-day conferenced featured small group discussions co-facilitated by students and topic experts on issues such as Women in Media, Health & Wellness and safety.
A video keynote address was graciously given by Sophie Gregoire Trudeau.
One-hundred students from across Limestone gathered to participate in activities focusing on gender issues and empowering female voices.
Students extend sincere appreciation to Mme. Gregoire-Trudeau for inspiring comments.
The conference was held Friday, May 5, 2017 at the Tett Centre for Creativity and Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts, Kingston, Ontario.
