Birmingham 1-4 Huddersfield (AET):Steve Mounie, Rajiv van La Parra and Tom Ince strike in extra time
The reward of a televised FA Cup fifth-round tie with Manchester United went to Huddersfield as David Wagner’s Premier League side beat Birmingham with three goals in extra time. The Championship club had taken a surprise lead through Che Adams in normal time before a Marc Roberts own goal took the match to an additional 30 minutes at St Andrew's Stadium. Yet a Steve Mounie header and strikes by Rajiv van La Parra and Tom Ince saw Huddersfield avoid an upset and set up a meeting with Jose Mourinho’s United at the John Smith’s Stadium.
