This is my first attempt at night time timelapse. Ok, so I didn't have my gorillapod with me and had to use what was available, but I am still very happy with the outcome.

Stockton on Tees Street Parties Jubilee Sunday 2012
Some of the Jubilee celebrations in Stockton today. As you can see the rain held off, and everyone had a marvellous time. The weeds in the pavements waved their support of Her Majesty to the Heavens, and the tarmac cracked with appreciation as even Sainbury's sold things to people who bought them and took them home in celebration. Hats off to David Cameron's Big Lunch idea, part of his Big Society plan. Stockton Council being forced to sack a load of workers after being told there was only money left for vast Royal Parties in no way affected the level of the celebrations here today in the event of this historic occasion here. thanks also to Mary Portas for the hundred grand, which will be spent on weedkiller and manhole filler.
