Silver Springs Florida - Wild Monkeys and More!
Kayaking along the Silver River to Silver Springs back in 2011 to look for the wild monkeys. This is a re-edit of the original video I posted back in 2011. Back then my computer was unable to render video at even 720p so the first video was letterboxed and grainy. I found my original video files from this trip and decided to redo it. Hope you enjoy!
Here's the original video:

State Parks Vol AP 2010 - Gators, Manatees, Hippo?
Florida State Parks Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon 2010 held at Homosassa Wildlife Park. Meet some of the Park's permanant residents.
Why do they close beaches in Florida?
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection frequently monitor water quality, and routinely collect algal bloom samples. When toxicity levels present a risk to human health, the state will issue advisories and may also post warning signs.

Prostitution | Wild Sex Ep12
Subscribe to Earth Touch now for more amazing nature
Sex sells ... all over the animal kingdom. Females from numerous species use prostitution to get what they want -- and males are eager to pay up. Penguins pay for lurve with rocks, beetles offer nuptial gifts & chimps may bargain with a fruit or two ... For many animals, sex is all about the right transaction.
04:00 Spotted bonobos where there should be chimps? Never fear -- we know our apes! The chimp's frisky cousins made the cut because the clip made us laugh ... and let's face it -- they love their monkey business more. In terms of anatomical accuracy, we challenge you to find any noticeable difference in their private proportions:

Chimps have feelings and thoughts. They should also have rights
Chimpanzees are people too, you know. Okay, not exactly. But lawyer Steven Wise has spent the last 30 years working to change these animals' status from things to persons. It's not a matter of legal semantics; as he describes in this fascinating talk, recognizing that animals like chimps have extraordinary cognitive capabilities and rethinking the way we treat them — legally — is no less than a moral duty.
