Best way to Experience the Sahara Desert | Camping in Merzouga, Morocco
The final Morocco vlog is here! Camping in the Sahara Desert at a spot called Merzouga.
Here we rode camels to our remote campsite, spent the night eating Moroccan food and listening to music played by the locals.
In the morning we made our way back to our new campsite by camel ride before jumping into some Jeeps to go on Safari.
To end it all a big long 13 hour bus ride to Marrakesh so we can finally show you what staying in a Riad is like.
Next stop: Flying home to surprise Jess's brother for Christmas!

Morocco Travel Guide: Marrakech, Atlas Mountains and Essaouira
On this trip you’ll be heading to Marrakech, the heart of Morocco, where spices linger in the market air, the sun sets on street performers, and the senses are treated to a whirlwind of sights and sounds. Discover life in the sprawling medina or get lost in the alleyways towards the souqs. Marvel at the tilework found in the royal Bahia Palace and Dar Si Said or learn how ancient traditions are woven into the fabric of Marrakech; there’s more than one way to fall in love with this cosmopolitan city.
Morocco is a North African country renowned for diversity, and this is one of the things that make it such a fascinating destination to visit. It’s a place where one will find many cultural influences, and the landscape offers visitors a chance to experience the ocean, Atlas Mountain peaks and the Sahara Desert all in one go. You might be travelling to one country, but in Morocco, there is a whole world to explore.
In Essaouira discover how coastal winds and different tribes can shape a port city. It’s a melting pot with Arab, Berber and European influences. While the sea attracts windsurfers, culture vultures flock to the medina’s alleyways for galleries and a spot of people watching. The vibrancy found in the country’s cities is matched by life in the Middle Atlas Mountains, where visitors can swap people watching and fortified walls for hiking, folk music and stargazing.
Observe nomadic shepherds, hike through limestone river canyons, enjoy impressive views and Berber hospitality and warmth as you make Midelt your basecamp for the Middle Atlas Mountains. As the sun goes down on the soaring peaks, the stars will light up the skies.
If we’ve inspired you to explore this north African country further, head over to TourRadar for all the different ways you can discover a world of flavour, culture and history in Morocco.

In our first episode we are in MARRAKECH! We are here to eat as much HALAL STREET FOOD as possible! We are spending the day exploring the ancient medina and eating a ton of food along the way. We start the day eating Bessara (Moroccan fava bean soup), and then visit the community bakery. We visit the first pastry shop in Marrakech to try some traditional sweets, and wash it down with freshly squeezed pomegranate juice. The medina features some cool shops that sell pickles and famous Moroccan mint. We have lunch in a busy corner of the market and try cactus fruit for the first time. We take a break from eating and visit the Secret Garden and then watch the sunset over the city. In the evening, we hit the night market for more food: Jemaa el-Fna. We eat the classic Moroccan street foods - like braised escargots!

Travelling Blind to Marrakech | Best Places to Visit in Morocco Travel Vlog
Experience Morocco with me in this Meet Me in Marrakech Travel Vlog. Follow me around as we go to the best places to visit in Marrakech and Essaouira. I was so worried before I left about things like “Is Morocco safe?’ ‘what can women wear in Morocco?’ ‘What’s Moroccan food like?’ You can imagine these questions and travelling blind and travelling alone (until I met my friend in Paris) made me feel so anxious!
I really hope you enjoy this vlog. It took this blind girl hours to film and edit but I really wnated to share these adventures and special moments with you as I celebrated my 31st birthday. It’s all the little moments that make up our lives and being legally blind I really wanted to soak in the culture, sights and food Morocco had to offer. ????

Moroccan travel guide | Best places to visit in Marrakech
Marrakesh is a must visit destination so I decided to make a travel guide.
Looking for the top things to do in Marrakech Morocco? Here are the top places to visit on your next trip to Marrakesh!
Take a tour of Marrakech and enjoy our list of recommended attractions to see:
Number 7: Jardin Majorelle, originally created by French artist Jacques Majorelle, the property was later on purchased by the fashion designers, Yves Saint-Laurent and Pierre Bergé. Entry fee is 5 USD. It gets quiet busy and loses its charm with the crowd.
Number 6: Jemaa El-Fna Square, real epicentre of Marrakech, the square will subdue its visitors by its charm. Visit it during the day and at night and notice the difference. This 11th century historic area is on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
Number 5: Maison de la Photographie, located in a nicely renovated Riad, it's a photo museum that takes you back in time. The Riad has a roof terrace where you can have food and drink and admire the stunning view of the Medina and the Atlas mountains.
Number 4: Get lost in the medina and the souks, wander through the narrow alleys of the city's ancient walled medina, buy Moroccan handcrafted items, bargain, push the doors of hidden riads.
Number 3: Bahia Palace, one of the masterpieces of Moroccan architecture. One of the best spots for your Instagram shots. Entry fee is 7 USD.
Number 2: Le Jardin Secret, an oasis of tranquility in the chaotic Medina. Discover its gardens and buildings which are outstanding examples of Islamic art and architecture.
Number 1: El Badi Palace was once the biggest and most splendid palace complex in Morroco. Today only its foundations remain but it is still magnificent, so much that Christian Dior held its fashion show in the palace to showcase his beginning of 2019 Cruise collection. The Palace also hosts the annual festival Marrakesh du rire with Jamel Debouze.

Marrakech is one of the most unique places I have ever been to. Walking the streets of Marrakech makes you feel like you are back in time. MOROCCAN FOOD IN MARRAKECH & LONG FLIGHT VLOG
We eat some amazing Moroccan food in Marrakech before a long haul flight home. This is a long flight vlog, we're flying Marrakech, Morocco to Managua, Nicaragua. This is not a flight I recommend anyone taking and not sure why I even signed up for it really... I've got my long flight outfit on which is the warmest stuff I have, on a long flight home you want to stay warm. Long flights are long flights and part of international travel. Some airport tips you don't want to miss are never get too comfy so you miss your fight and never fall asleep or you might miss your flight. Also long haul flights aren't so bad once you get over the hum which is a few hours into it. Moroccan food is some of my favourite and I even brought a tajine home, how could I not?

10 Best Places to Visit in Morocco - Travel Video
Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman may have given the world Casablanca, but there is much more to see in Morocco than its largest city. This Atlantic coast country gives travelers the opportunity to experience life in an ancient Arabic culture, sunning on beaches or snow skiing in the mountains. Whether rambling through ancient medinas, sampling cuisine at a local souq or relaxing in the sun at a white-washed seaside town, the past is always present in this diverse and colorful country. Here’s a look at the best places to visit in Morocco:

Not the Best Experience - Marrakech, Morocco Vlog & Review | TRAVEL
Hello, and welcome to another travel vlog : ).
If you haven't seen my Lagos, Nigeria Vlog (December period) watch it here:
I recently went to Morocco (Marrakech) and here's my take on it plus my rating of the whole experience. Please read below for some notes (i.e. hotel review). P.S. I got to take some cool photos so if you want to have a look, do follow me on Instagram (@FloraStyles).
Our hotel:
Savoy Le Grand (Room Tour @0:41)
This hotel is in a great location but the problem I had with it is there is no control for the air conditioning in the room - it is centralised. This may not be a big deal to some but it was a big problem for me because at night, the room got stuffy and hot but because it was winter for them at that time, the hotel had the centralised heating on. So you can only imagine how frustrating that was. We had to leave our door open every night (and even sleep with no clothes on) just so we can have cool air. So personally, I wouldn't stay in this hotel again because of that, and if you're going with any other hotel I recommend you call and ask about air conditioning (ours said it had air conditioning but we didn't know we cannot control it ourselves). I've never had to do this because every hotel I've stayed in prior to this one, I was able to control the temperature of the room. Aside from this, the room was clean, bathroom was very clean and the breakfast was really nice (though the sausages are VERY VERY oily!).
Places we ate:
As you can see, we didn’t eat any Moroccan food. I’m sorry but I am not a fan of Moroccan food. I don’t enjoy Cous Cous and their sauces don’t do anything for me personally. A lot of people I know that have had Moroccan food also agree with me.
Regarding places we went to, they were mainly restaurants in Menara Mall as they were close to us. The food at the places we ate were really good. The Philly cheese steak in the vlog is one of the best I’ve ever had!
I wanted to try Comptoir and L’Epicuren as they were highly recommended. Comptoir had great food but I think L’Epicuren had better entertainment (which also went on for longer - Comptoir’s show only lasted less than an hour but they definitely had the better food).
