(Re)Claiming the New Westminster Waterfront
Waterfronts all over the world are changing. The city of New Westminster, in British Columbia, Canada, is no different.
(Re)Claiming the New Westminster Waterfront is a collaborative effort, with funding from Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada Partnership Development Grant. We are working to preserve the rich history of work along the New Westminster waterfront, and to educate others on the ways the landscape continues to change.
This channel is full of projects featuring visuals from the New Westminster Museum & Archives and the New Westminster Public Library, as well as clips from Oral History interviews conducted with community members who have a connection to the waterfront. The full interviews can be accessed through the New Westminster Museum & Archives.

Tourism British Columbia
Canada is a big country, full of unique experiences and places for you to explore. It is the second biggest in the world, and you can find our 35 million Canadians spread out from the Pacific to the Atlantic and deep into the Arctic, coast to coast to coast. In every Canadian city you're only steps from good food, great views, and a breath of nature's fresh air. Walk the ramparts of Québec City, cycle Vancouver's seawall, put on your boots for the Calgary Stampede, and your sunscreen for the Dawson City Music Festival. Discover Acadian culture at a summer kitchen party, hear aboriginal history in Saskatchewan, follow the Viking Trail in Newfoundland, and walk through Toronto's crystal ROM -- you'll hear hello in too many languages to count. And they love our food: fusion, farm and five-star. Toast Niagara Falls with ice wine, shuck oysters in Prince Edward Island and take a bite of Alberta beef. See the world's longest tides in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, the Midnight Sun in Nunavut, the Northern Lights in the Northwest Territories, and polar bears and belugas in Manitoba. And then relax. Canada is yours to explore, by city, culture, plane, menu, boat, foot, and even spa. To book or to find out more information call your Airfare Expert now on 133 133 or visit

CANADIAN PR PATHWAY STRATEGY NOT EVERYBODY TALKS ABOUT (CANADA TOURIST VISA | WORK PERMIT | PR)
Convert Tourist Visa to Canadian PR. This video will guide you in detail how to apply for a Canadian Tourist Visa, how to get a job offer while on Tourist Visa, get a work permit legally and become a Canadian PR. Understanding of the entire process is the key.
The biggest advantage you have while in Canada is to have a higher chance of landing a Job Interview as majority of employers prefer those who are physically present in Canada. Specially if you are applying for AIPP or RNIP, a face to face interview is the best way to get a Job. Getting a Job Interview is not easy honestly but networking with the hiring managers and company employees before arriving in Canada really makes a huge difference! Visit Visa is only $100 :)
If you get a Job Offer from the AIPP or RNIP, LMIA is not required and you are not actually applying for a Work Permit but rather for PR.
If you have any questions about the process, anything that I missed to cover that you want to know, filling out the form, feel free to ask as I have undergone this process just weeks ago :)
Note that an additional $85 is added on top of the $100 application fee if CIC requires you to go through Biometrics.
