When ready, browse vacation packages to Cape Town:
Begin your #CapeTown adventure at The Castle of Good Hope, the centerpoint from which the city grew. While on #vacation here, don’t miss the District Six Museum which gives voice to the 60,000 non-white residents who saw their vibrant multi-racial neighborhood flattened during the darkest days of the Apartheid era. WELCOME to CAPE TOWN - CITY CENTRE TOUR ???????? - 2019 vlog
You've seen the views of Table Mountain and the beaches, but what about Cape Town's City Centre? In this vlog, we are traveling to Cape Town's City Centre to uncover the highlights of the city.
We travel to the oldest building, the Castle of Good Hope, built between 1666 and 1679 by the Dutch East India Company. We also visit the High Court Civil Annex, which has benches which are remnants of the apartheid.
We also visit the colorful Malay region of Bo Kaap where the houses come in every single color imaginable.
Lastly we cross the peninsula 30 minutes away to Muizenberg, a beach-side suburb of Cape Town, South Africa. The beach is famous for its colorful beach huts.

30 Things to do in Cape Town, South Africa Travel Guide Video Transcript:
Today we’re taking you around one of our favourite cities: Cape Town, South Africa.
We first visited Cape Town in 2015 as the final stop on a monthlong trip across South Africa. However, by the time we arrived, we only had a couple of days to spare and the weather was less than ideal, so we didn’t get to see very much.
We knew we had to return to do the city justice and also film a proper Cape Town travel guide for you guys. This time around, we gave ourselves a full week to spare.
Our days were packed with sightseeing, and with visits to restaurants, chocolate shops, wineries and gin distilleries, so without further delay, let us show you 30 things do in Cape Town, South Africa.
And that’s a wrap for our week in Cape Town, South Africa. We hope you enjoyed following along and that this guide gave you a few ideas of things to see, do and eat in Cape Town. As always, if you have any other suggestions for fellow travellers, feel free to share those in the comments below. In the meantime, wishing you happy travels and see you next time!
This is part of our Travel in South Africa video series showcasing South African food, South African culture and South African cuisine.

The majority of journalists around the world have chosen to develop their subject on controversial and sensational themes: violence, war, crime. But all these facts represent only 1% of our world and its inhabitants, forgetting the remaining 99% of which we never speak.
I chose to visit every country on the planet and film them to present them in High Definition format but in a raw way, without music, without comment. Simply, reality in all its truth. Thus, you will be able to make your own idea of the world in which you live.
Currently, I have already visited nearly 170 countries and my world tour continues thanks to you who follow me.

J’ai choisi de visiter chaque pays de la planète et de les filmer pour vous les présenter en format Haute définition mais de manière brute, sans musique, sans commentaire. Cape Town Sightseeing Tour
Cape Town, also known as ‘The Mother City’, is South Africa’s oldest Town located at the most Southern point of the African Continent. The Dutch founded Cape Town as a refreshment station for European ships en route to the Indian Ocean and Asia. By the early 19th Century it was a cosmopolitan Port marked by conflict between Dutch settlers and British colonists which culminated into the Anglo-Boer War of 1899-1902.
Today, CT has one of South Africa’s most diverse populations. In spite of their differences and fierce social contrasts, the majority of the 3.5 million inhabitants wouldn’t trade their City for any other place on Earth. Cape Town's iconic attractions and destinations, include the world heritage Table Mountain site and V&A Waterfront harbor where one can take a ferry to Robben Island where Nelson Mandela spent 18 of his 27 years in prison.
Cape Town counts numerous places of wonder, among those: Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden, Clifton, Sea Point, Bantry Bay, Green Point, Bo Kaap, the main museums (African, Jewish, District Six and Gold museum), the International Convention Centre, St George's Cathedral and the many prestigious Hotels and Mansions along the stunning coastal suburbs of Camps Bay, not to mention the legendary Constantia Wine Route …

Hi, youtube family wanted to write about something you might not have heard a lot about trains in South Africa “Although a very popular form of transport for locals, it is highly recommended that you try not to use this form of transport as a tourist. If you want to, ask a local to accompany you. And as in any country, watch your belongings!”
I just want to say that it is not true, now that’s only my thought and experiences. What they forgot to mention is that it is never on time now that I would agree with had to wait for 1 hr!!…..Anyways not everywhere in the world is safe so yeah?! South Africa is well served by an extensive public transport network of trains and buses, conveniently offering travelers with the ability to reach all corners of the country.
Anywho Rant over lol!!!!
Today was run errands day. My mum and I went to Cape Town center to get me a new sim card for my phone, go shopping for some clothes I need and of course take a tour around the city.
We stop over for lunch at a fish and chip shop been British, after that, I left my mum because she wasn’t up for the touring bit to meet up with my friend.
