Tour of Britain 2011 Day 4 Welshpool to Caerphilly
Filmed on the A483 between Newtown and Crossgates.
This video has some test elements of Picture in Picture and Chromakey as this is the 1st time I've experimented with these.
Can you spot the cycle racer who is relieving himself as he passes the camera?
Tour of Britain 2011, Norfolk, East Anglia, Challenge Ride.
A few shots with a GoPro of the Tour route. Need to get my sh*t together with framing- that camera gets heavy on the head after 4 hours! Some flaws show in the mount- wobble etc - need to try mount on handlebars again- at least I can see where it's pointing then! lol

Tour of Britain visits Caerphilly 14th Sep 2011
Stage 4 of the Tour of Britain cycle race was from Welshpool to Caerphilly. In Caerphilly they came through Llanbradach, Pontygwindy Road and up Cardiff Road (against the one-way-system). The first part of this video is filmed outside Lloyds TSB in Cardiff Road.
They then travelled up Caerphilly Mountain to the snack bar on top, turning right to travel down the mountain past Castle View estate, and turned right down Nantgarw Road to the finish in Crescent Road, where the second half of this video was filmed.
The music over the first half is to hide the appallingly inane commentary that someone nearby was giving to her small son, all of which was sadly caught on the video! ;)

Tour of Britain Cycle Race - Stage Five - Cullompton, Mid Devon - 2010
Don't forget to upload photographs of the event to tivertonpeople.co.uk and have your say on the event.
CULLOMPTON residents packed the road sides to witness the spectacle of the Tour of Britain.
Stage five of the race headed through the town on Wednesday September 15, as cyclists such as Bradley Wiggins, and race winner Marco Frapporti made their way from Tavistock to Glastonbury.
The sprints were dominated by Michal Golas as the Vacansoleil rider got a hat trick of sprint wins at Cheriton Bishop, Cullompton and Langport. For his efforts through Cullompton, the town's mayor Councillor Wendy Gillings was in Glastonbury to present him with a blanket woven in Cullompton from local wool.
In the town bakers had made special biscuits for the day, banners and balloons had been given to the town's schools, and Bike Doctor cycle shop were also giving free checks on bikes.
Year five pupils made a six mile round trip from Kentisbeare Primary School to Cullompton on their own bikes.
Jill Thompson brought 26 of her pupils to see the race. She said: We love the Tour of Britain, and it's one of our targets this year to do lots of cycling, so this was an ideal start to the new term.

Cycling at High Speed Down Welshpool Rd, Lesmurdie
Since the frame on my Giant Trance is currently broken and getting assessed for warranty, I decided to have some fun on my commuter bike instead. Went for a ride (on a 38 degree day!!!) down Welshpool Road in Lesmurdie (Perth hills) and according to my GPS was hitting upwards of 75km/hr. Now if only I could get more aero on a mountain bike with slick tyres!
Shot on my GoPro Hero 4 Black.

Caerphilly to Cardiff Bike Ride Pt1
My first bike ride of the year, my first with the camera on (handle bar mount). Approx 10 miles. Usually takes around 50 mins but this was around 1 hours as I've not been out for some time!
Mount could use some cushioning on future runs.

Barmouth 10th November 2018
Day trip to Barmouth. Lovely dinner at “The Mermaid” followed by coffee and ice cream at “Antonio’s”. Our walk was cut short by the most torrential rain I’ve ever been outside in. Hahaha. Truly got soaked. Happy days x
