An integral part of Kamloops' history, Tranquille or as some may know it Padova City, or even the King Edward Tuberculosis Sanatorium in Kamloops BC, is a place full of stories. From the importance the river played 6000 years ago to the aboriginal, to young love among hospital staff, or world-class water system innovation Tranquille has a story to tell.

If you are heading up to view the Tranquille River trail, stop by the abandoned water station area. It is a 20 to 30 minute walk when taking your time. There are many small stops to enjoy along the way.
