Fisherman's Wharf, with its colorful water houses, is the start of one of Victoria's most famous sea tours. I will meet you today, Captain Chris. I will accompany you for your safety. If you feel sick or uncomfortable, tell me right away. I'll show you as much as I can. Where are you from? I'm from Trinidad and Tobago. One of the school teachers told me about the whale, and I went to see it. You can meet new people and stay away from the city so you do not have to worry about what's happening right now. You'll be able to experience a real ocean. It's not like sitting on a pier and just looking at it. You can apply for a whale exploration tour here. I'll definitely see whales. The probability of seeing it by the end of this month is 100%. I saw a whole day during the month of November. In winter, many tourists visit here because it is possible to witness whales moving on the warm south to breed on the coast of Victoria Island. Everyone comes to the ship with a smile on their anticipation. Suddenly the ship got out of Fisherman's Wharf. Seals are already seen across the sea. People who take pictures to remember the moment together more finally finally arrived at their first destination, Trial Island. The lighthouse at Trier Island, seen there, was built by the British Navy in the 1860s. There are some people who came from England today. I used Scottish stones. The Trier Island Ecological Reserve is a small island about two hours by boat from Victoria Island. This place is hard to reach, protected by the seals and seals of paradise. Tourists can observe marine wildlife in the boat. There are three sea elephants and three seals. Do you see there is one even in the distance? The sea elephant who stuck to the rock like a rock and a boat is a big thing from a distance. Thank you. What are you doing now? The gestures of the sea elephant are all laughing at once.

Paddling Around Trial Island and Large Chain Islet: Victoria, BC (2013)
Yesterday, five of us from the Victoria Sea Kayakers Group (Brad, Ginny, Ron, Thor, and Trina) launched from McNeill (or Shoal) Bay at Kitty Islet, paddled across Enterprise Channel, around Trial Island and the Great Chain Islet and back. We bumped into Allan Mandell and two of his friends just before we passed Trial island. There were a few waves rounding Trial Island and in the channel. Another day in heaven! (Sunday, June 16, 2013).

Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse in Victoria, British Columbia
The Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites is located about 14 kms (8.5 miles) from downtown Victoria in southern Vancouver Island. Built 1895-97 and originally the site for defences of the British Empire, the Fort Victoria-Esquimalt Fortress then evolved to deal with the new technologies of the 1920's to guard Canada's west coast. Today the historic site is well preserved and visitors can see many of the original structures of the Victoria-Esquimalt fortifications.
