3HL Oshawa Showcase - December 9, 2017 - Tribute Communities Centre
The 3HL TOUR is the world’s first 3 on 3 Professional Hockey League showcasing Canada’s elite hockey talent through a series of 3 on 3 pro hockey tournaments (3HL TOUR Events) across Southern Ontario. The 3HL TOUR returns to the Tribute Communities Centre on December 9th for the second annual 3HL Oshawa Showcase.
3HL TOUR events consist of eight teams of aspiring and accomplished pro hockey players representing various cities competing in a single elimination bracket style tournament for a share of a cash purse, individual player bonuses, and pride. Individual tournaments contribute to the overall season standings, culminating in the 3HL Champions Cup. At the 3HL Oshawa Showcase, teams will be competing for a share of the $15K cash purse!

Oshawa, Ontario: Downtown Driving Tour (Plus GM Plant)
A driving tour video of downtown Oshawa, Ontario. The main downtown portion of the video follows the Simcoe Street / Centre Street Loop with additional excursions to see the Tribute Communities Centre (home of the OHL's Oshawa Generals) and King and Bond Street.
After leaving the downtown, we loop around the massive General Motors Manufacturing Plant. This historic automotive factory is now threatened to be closed down at the end of 2019 by GM.
The tour culminates at Lakeview Park on the shores of Lake Ontario. This video was taken in January, 2019.
The city of Oshawa was incorporated in 1850 and now has a population of 160,000. The city is located about 60 KM northeast of downtown Toronto. GM's roots in Oshawa date back well over a century. Lakeview Park, where the video ends, is on land originally donated by the car manufacturer.

The Oshawa Skating Club is proud to announce a new show at Oshawa’s Tribute Communities Centre entitled Skating through the Decades Ice Show, to celebrate their 80 years of history in Oshawa on Saturday, April 7, 2018 beginning at 7:00pm.
This momentous celebration event hosted by Oshawa’s own King of Blades Don Jackson and Oshawa’s Own Pairs Champion Barbara Underhill, will feature guest skaters including Olympic Medalist, World Champion and three-time Canadian Champion Jeffrey Buttle, two-time Olympic Medalist, three-time World Champion and nine-time Canadian Champion Elvis Stojko, as well as Oshawa skaters aged two to adults.
