Night in Nagoya, Japan! In this vlog, you will mainly see Sakae, a district famous for the nightlife in Nagoya. We visit Oasis 21 and fall in love with the design and architecture, then try some specialties of Nagoya, including the famous hitsumabushi (grilled eel on rice).
But first, a glimpse of the most important company in entire Japan: Toyota.
Nagoya is the birthplace of Toyota in Japan. The headquarters today are located in Toyota (Nagoya metro area), but it all started here. As a matter of fact, as a textile industry. We visit the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology (also known as Toyota Techno Museum) to learn about the company history.

Creating an Island for Ants (Paludarium)

Our fire ants, black crazy ants, and yellow crazy ants have yet to inhabit a home as cool and epic as this new paludarium. It is an ant island we create in today's episode, called El Dragon Island. After losing our Titans last week, I made sure to create a setup surrounded by a moat of water to keep intruders out.
There were a few challenges however. We needed to prepare the waters for the living things we were going to place in its turbulent, river waters. We had to biologically stabilize the water before adding our various shrimp and plants. We sought to create an Asian biotope in the waters of El Dragon, and explain more about that in this video.
Finally, we learn more about our new Polyrhachis ant colony and release them onto our brand new island. You won't believe what we observe them do! It was something not yet documented by science!

► The British Museum: Located in Bloomsbury, London, in the United Kingdom, this museum is dedicated to human history, art and culture. It was the first national public museum in the world. Their permanent collection has 8 million pieces of work, which also makes them among the largest on the planet. Most items were sourced during the era of the British Empire. Here you can see the Rosetta Stone, the Parthenon sculptures and several Egyptian mummies, among other treasures.
► The British Library: Very close to King's Cross and St Pancras railway stations, this is the national library of the United Kingdom and the largest national library in the world by the number of items cataloged. It's believed to contain 150–200 million+ items from many countries. It's worth a visit to see their impressive collection of historical documents, ranging from letters to musical compositions and the Magna Carta.
► Harry Potter 9 3/4 platform: This one is for Harry Potter fans. You can find the trolley at Harry Potter's platform 9 3/4 in the concourse of King's Cross railway station. It's open for everyone to take pictures free of charge, and you don't need to be traveling by train to reach the area. There's also a Harry Potter store nearby.
► Heathrow Express: We left London via Heathrow Express, an airport rail link between London Heathrow Airport and Paddington station. Tickets on-site cost 25 pounds, but if you buy in advance you can get better prices. The service is operated by Heathrow Express Operating Company, and the entire ride takes 15 min.

Amateur Fossil Collector Maurice Stefanuk (1924-2016)
Darren Tanke, preparation technician at the Royal Tyrrell Museum discusses the life story of Maurice Stefanuk, amateur fossil collector, and his contributions to palaeontology in Alberta.
There are many individuals in the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology’s 30-year history who have contributed to its success as Canada’s dinosaur museum. Maurice Stefanuk (1924 – 2016) was one of the Museum’s first technicians and research assistants. He worked on many of the original specimens that are on display today in Dinosaur Hall. Born and raised in Drumheller, Stefanuk spent his childhood exploring the badlands. During one outing, he found a large carnivorous dinosaur tooth—a small discovery that sparked a lifelong interest in fossils from the area.
Stefanuk’s biggest contribution to science was the discovery of two of the best skeletons of the tyrannosaur Albertosaurus in Alberta. One was discovered in 1973 east of Trochu, and the other in 1985, not far from the Museum. Both of these specimens have been used in a number of displays and landmark scientific studies.
YOKOHAMA, Japan: Nissan Stadium, Ramen Museum, Cup Noodles Museum | Vlog 5
Yokohama, Japan is well known for soccer (or football ????) and ramen. In this video, you see the most famous attractions in both fields. In Shin-Yokohama, we visit the Nissan Stadium (also known as Yokohama Stadium), and the Ramen Museum, where you can try some of the best ramen bowls you'll ever have. Food in Japan is always delicious!
The Nissan Stadium is famous for the 2002 FIFA World Cup Final and is often used for major events in Japan. In 2020, it will also host Olympic soccer matches. Now that the Rugby World Cup is over, stadium visits have resumed.
From the Ramen Museum, we went to the Cup Noodles Museum, back in Minato Mirai 21, where you can learn about Momofuku Ando, the creator of instant ramen noodles, the history of instant ramen and cupnoodles. We closed the day visiting the mall across the street, World Porters, and enjoying the view from the Ferris wheel at Cosmo World.
Yokohama is perfect for a Tokyo day trip, but my advice? Stay longer ????

A Nuclear Waste Dump You Can Walk On: Weldon Spring, Missouri
In Weldon Spring, Missouri, there is a strange, grey, windblasted seven-storey pile of rocks. It's the Weldon Spring Site: a nuclear and toxic waste dump on the site of an old uranium processing factory. And you can walk on it: it's technically a tourist attraction. That was going to be the whole of my video... and then I did some more research.

Our Nagoya, Japan trip couldn't come to an end without visiting some more attractions in Nagoya city. People may only think about Nagoya Castle as the main attraction in Nagoya, but you'd be surprised to discover the city offers much more. Can you believe there are many things to do in and around Nagoya Station? We start the day at Atsuta Shrine, continue in the Osu shopping district (where we see more shrines and temples) before trying miso katsu at Nagoya Station and going up at Midland Square and Sky Promenade.

Trip to Japan | Osaka (or 大阪市) is so full of things to do! We spend the day shopping in Osaka. Japanese also love it! In Minami, we start at Orange Street (Horie), then visit America Mura, Shinsaibashi-Suji, Dotonbori (where you see the famous Glico man), Ebisubashi-Suji and Namba Walk. We return to Dotonbori to enjoy Osaka at night and try delicious street food. My favorite? Takoyaki, by far! ????
