Is the Tulum Jungle Gym the Coolest gym in the world? I'll let you guys decide as my recent trip to Tulum, Mexico was an unforgettable experience.
The Jungle Gym is nothing short of a bodybuilders dream, a true iron paradise!
As I walked up the white sands of the Southern Yucatan Peninsula, I was blown away by the jaw dropping gym that looked like it was straight out of the FlintStones movie!

Training at Tulum Jungle Gym
Join me during a day of training at the famous Tulum Jungle Gym. I am here with my daughter Michelle MacDonald (@yourhealthyhedonista) and Katie Davies (@katietrainsalot). This gym is just incredible! I really feel like Wilma from the Flintstones. Everything is made of stone, wood, or marble. I can't wait to be back here in November during my retreat with my fellow fitness lovers of ALL ages. We will be training here a few days with Katie putting us through our paces (if I can do a burpee you can too too!).

Train Like A Flintsone | Tulum Jungle Gym
Tulum jungle gym is a real life Fred flintstone gym located in Mexico. Nearly all the equipment is made of wood or stone.

An amazing gym set on the beach in Tulum, Mexico. Check out the coconut wood and stone weights, the crazy pulley systems and the gorgeous sunshine whilst you work out! Pretty expensive at $25 entry, but worth it for the experience alone.
Coolest Gym on the Planet - Jungle Gym Tulum
I have trained in over 30 countries and have put hundreds of gyms to the test. Without question, the Jungle Gym in Tulum is the coolest gym I have ever trained at. It was well worth the 1 hour 45 minute cab ride away from my resort to get this workout in. If you are ever anywhere near Tulum, a training session at the Jungle Gym is a must.
First, it's on the beach! A beautiful, white sand beach that softly caresses your toes and puts your mind and body at ease.
Next, you have never lifted weights like this before. The dumbbells are totally Flintstones style - huge boulders. Your lat pull down is a huge basket filled with rocks, or people. The way this gym was put together is so creative and pure art.
I trained for almost 2 hours before being pulled away to eat. I would have happily stayed and trained for another 2 hours.

BEACH WORKOUT | Tulum Jungle Gym
Just got back from Playa Del Carmen in Mexico - we took a drive to Tulum to get another workout in at the Tulum Jungle Gym. Regan and I went there in May and absolutely loved the gym and I am so happy we took the time to go back and get a workout in again! I HIGHLY recommend checking out this gym if you are staying in the Riviera Maya!
We stayed at the Grand Sunset Princess in Playa Del Carmen for our second time and have nothing but good things to say about the resort!
