I was my first time in Bali and I had the most amazing time in Indonesia.
We had a bali guided tour and we visited many places like ubud rice fields, bali waterfalls, bali swing, bali water palace, and the whole trip was amazing.
The bali tour guide was very nice and took us to these amazing places which are perfect for people that are visiting for the first time in bali. And if you are visiting bali for the first time you should add one of these bali tour guide to your bali trip and you will have an amazing day in bali.
There are many things to do in your first time in bali, we visited the Gates of Heaven at Lempuyang Temple, Tirta Gangga water palace, we went to the Tukad Cepung waterfall and we had some fun at the Jungle swing, after all that we finished the day in the rice fields in Tegallalang.

Ubud | Rice Fields Walk | Bali | VLOG #010

ABOUT US
Hi, we’re Chris and Mandy, travel bloggers and creators from Australia. Since December 2015, we have been travelling and exploring the world full-time. We usually spend 1-2 months in each place we travel to and love really getting to know a place. One of our favourite ways to get to know a destination is through food, and we share all of our food guides here on Youtube and on our travel blogs. We love to pack light, travelling the past 3 years with carry-on only. On AlmostLanding.com, we share in-depth guides to help you plan the best trip, we often have free printable guides you can download or print out, we’ve created our own travel maps pinpointing our favourite picks for different places so you can easily find everything and make travel planning easy. We have another travel blog all on Bali, AlmostLanding-Bali.com, we’ve spent so much time in Bali and share everything we know and love about this beautiful island. We’ve fallen in love with travel and blogging, and we wanted to create a space for other travel lovers and life dreamers. Thanks for being a part of Almost Landing, and make sure to say hi :)

Ubud Rice Field Walk
This is the main Rice Field Walk in Ubud, Bali. If you look on Google Maps, this walk is on a road called Jolan Subak Sok Wayah. It's just north of Ubud, but well within walking distance of town. This area is next to the Campuhan Ridge Walk, but can be tricky to find, so ask for directions if you get lost.
Walking this road is a great way to spend a half day in Ubud. You'll find many small cafes, guest houses, and art studios along its entire length. The farther you walk, the more rural it gets, so try and make it to the end.

September 2017
Price - I paid $77 USD per night for this full Balinese villa in the rice paddies
During our trip to Bali, I really wanted to stay in a Balinese villa, specifically surround by rice fields. So after some searching I found a place near Ubud that looked very quiet and nice.
It was a beautiful place, very relaxing and I enjoyed the entire community.
We had 2 full rooms, a swimming pool, a kitchen, and a living space. And one of the best things about staying in a Balinese villa in the rice paddies is being able to take walks and just enjoying the incredible countryside of Bali.
Our host family that owns the villa was also very kind and welcoming.
A few drawbacks:
- It's a little isolated, and you have to walk or take a motorbike out to the main road. So you have to pre-arrange transportation everyday.
- Unless you go out of the neighborhood there are no really local food options.
But overall, my family and I really enjoyed our stay.
Thank you for watching!

Rice walk and jungle trekking in UBUD, BALI // Ep 13 Southeast Asia Travel Vlogs
There are several different rice walks in Ubud to choose from. We decided to check out the Kajeng Rice field walk after researching on trip advisor and discovering this one might be slightly less touristy than the more popular Campuhah Ridge walk.
We were very happy to find we had the whole place to ourselves, aside from the odd local worker.
We rented a bike to get to the rice fields, and cruised our way through numerous tight alley ways and after a short, steep hill we made it to the Kajeng rice fields. We parked our bike beside a few other bikes, and decided to head right on the main road.
There were no signs telling us which way to go or that we had even made it to the right location, we simply assumed, and had a guessed right.
After walking through gorgeous rice field upon rice field, not to be mistaken with rice terraces, we made it to a small creek. As we approached the creek, the scenery went from palm trees and rice fields, to thick, lush jungle.
We kept on this narrow path, the much less traveled path, and saw many beautiful sights- some scary ones too!
Upon first entering the jungle walk, Scott spotted what he believed was a baby alligator. I saw too many spiders for my liking and a huge black lizard darted out in front of me on the path as well! No thanks.
Aside from a few spooky crawlers, this place was picturesque. After about an hour of trekking, our hungry bellies were calling, and so was the nearby warung.
Sweet Orange Warung, a neat little restaurant nestled a little ways off the main path. The place was artistically decorated with a local touch of coconut heads! Some might find these creepy, but we found them amusing and creative. Serene Balinese music and wood chimes played in the background.
We sat here and enjoyed a fresh juice and smoothie, as well as the best spring rolls we had tasted so far in Asia.
After filling our bellies just enough for a burst of energy, we strolled back down the road towards our bike where Scott took one wrong step and ended up soaked in mud. Oops! The things you'll do for a selfie..
We decided we had seen it all, and began our descent back into the town of Ubud.
Here we navigated through traffic and markets, and finally reached our goal. Affogato!!
We cooled off with a delicious blend of ice cream and espresso at a lovely cafe in town.
After the caffeine jolt, we were ready to head back to our AirBnB, pick up our laundry, and get some work done for the day.
We had a great day and hope you enjoyed it too!

The journey begins!
Scotty and I quit our jobs, moved our stuff into storage and left Canada to travel all around Southeast Asia until the funds run out. We've always talked of doing something like this, but we decided to take the plunge and really go for it.
We are starting our travels in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and staying with our old pal and roommate Sunil. From there, we will be traveling to Bali, Indonesia.
Our goal is to experience as much as we can, get out of our comfort zones, and really live our lives to the fullest.
We plan to share this journey with friends and family and anyone else interested in our journey. The goal is to put out one travel vlog weekly, to share the good, the bad, and everything in between.
Stay tuned and enjoy the ride!!
xoxo

Welcome to hidden gem of ubud, paddy point penestanan rice fields walk and restaurants.
Kajeng Street - UBUD BALI
Kajeng Street - Ubud, Bali, Indonesia
Kajeng street is a small street about 150 meters west of downtown Ubud.
Like many other streets in the city center. We can also find many home stays, hotels and restaurants on this street. It’s an excellent area to stay. You can go practically anywhere in the city on foot from this street.
The most unique thing about Kajeng street is: It’s the floor. How do I say it? It’s the paved way of the street?
There are many writings on it street’s floor that has been there since 80’s.
People from around the world put their names and writings in it. French, this one is Arabic, Korean, name it. They even draw on it. Hello, Tasmanian Tiger.
At the end of Kajeng street, there is a path leading to the rice fields with several home stays and hotels as well. But that’s a story for another time.
So that’s it. My name is Faris. See you on the next video.
