A park in Vancouver city where you will find many beautiful sights 2016
VANCOUVER CANADA city. Kitsilano Area near Vanier Park. Relaxing Area.
Kits as most people in the city call it is conveniently located a bridge away from downtown. A relaxing vibe in this area is what attracts people to this area. People love to walk their dogs to the nearby parks and enjoy the stunning sunsets in the evening.
We start our walk on Chestnut Street near Vanier Park. A right is taken on Greer Street. When we hit a T, we take a right on Cypress Street. Creelman Avenue is the next road we venture on and then we take a left on Walnut Street. Cornwall Avenue has a few shops and restaurants. After zig zagging around a few more streets, we hit the beach area.

Museum of Vancouver at Vanier Park
The Museum of Vancouver is located at Vanier Park, in the Kitsilano neighbourhood, a 10 minute drive/15 minute walk from Downtown Vancouver and Granville Island Public Market. We share this iconic building (with a giant crab sculpture out front) with the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre. Vanier Park is also home to the Vancouver Maritime Museum, Vancouver Archives, Vancouver Academy of Music, and Bard on the Beach (seasonally). Kits beach, local restaurants and cafes are just a 5 minute walk away.

Kitsilano Coast & Vanier Park
Kitsilano is a neighbourhood in the city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.[1] Known colloquially as Kits, the neighbourhood is named after Squamish chief August Jack Khatsahlano. Kitsilano is located in Vancouver's West Side along the south shore of English Bay, between the neighbourhoods of West Point Grey and Fairview.[2] With a population of 40,595 people as of 2006, the area is mostly residential with two main commercial areas, West 4th Avenue and West Broadway, known for their retail stores, restaurants and organic food markets.[2] Notable landmarks in Kitsilano include the Burrard Bridge, Kitsilano Beach, and the Museum of Vancouver/H. R. MacMillan Space Centre.
The neighbourhood has played host to a number of annual events such as the Vancouver International Children's Festival, the Bard on the Beach outdoor Shakespeare festival, and the Celebration of Light fireworks competition. Kitsilano is the current or former home of a number of famous residents including environmentalist David Suzuki, writers William Gibson and Philip K. Dick, actors Ryan Reynolds, Jason Priestley, and Joshua Jackson, ice hockey players Trevor Linden and Ryan Kesler, and comedian Brent Butt.
