Victor Harbor is a town in South Australia on the south coast of the Fleurieu Peninsula, about 80 km south of the centre of Adelaide. The city is the largest population centre on the peninsula, with an economy based upon agriculture, fisheries and various industries. It is also a highly popular tourist destination, with the city's population greatly expanded during the summer holidays, usually by Adelaide locals looking to escape the summer heat.
It is a popular destination with South Australian high school graduates for their end of year celebrations, known colloquially as schoolies.More info:

Victor Harbor Street Preacher Gets Baptized With A Bucket Of Water By A Heckler
A Local Farmer and Victor Harbor Street Preacher is preaching the gospel to the Victor Harbor Sunday Markets on the 22nd of July 2012 when a Heckler gets annoyed and vocal towards him that it will disrupt his garden trade business, in his frustration he decides throwing a few buckets of water on the preacher may calm him down, and yet it only stirs the preacher on to a more bold declaration of the gospel. The Heckler does not realise the preacher is a Farmer who gets wet everyday and has no worries to get a bit wet for the gospel. And while the Heckler is trying to make his living, what he does not take into account is that God gave Him the very plants he sells for a living, God gives him the rain which waters those plants, the sun to make them grow, and God supplies the Sunday in which this man uses to sell his plants of the day the Lord intended for the Heckler to worship God on. So while he did not attend church to hear the word of God this Sunday, the word of God came to his 'front door' so to speak, and we pray will open his heart and eyes to the wonderful message of Christ and how he might find everlasting life in Him through Christ's precious blood. Perhaps he will realise that while we need to make a living, the Lord Himself is the one who provides all things, and God honors His children in the proclamation of His gospel to a dying world, and greater than this Heckler making money, would be the salvation of His soul, what a far GREATER gift this would be than that God would supply income at his Market. God will do both, but what is one day without sales and income, for an eternal message of hope for his lost soul. Might this message save him and his family and all those at the Sunday Market who heard the gospel by a Local Farmer himself. God who provides both rain and sun to this Local Farmer/Street Preacher, and yet greater than that; has given him the gift of His own Son - Jesus Christ for the salvation of his soul, that He might testify to all those in his own country town how they might find forgiveness with a Holy, Just and Merciful God. God be glorified as He raises up more and more labourers to send forth into this plentiful harvest, and make many, many more men and women fishes of men in this; (for the most part) God-forsaken town of Victor Harbor.

ReBrandSA - South Australia. A Brilliant Beginning.
Brand by: Jessica Torres
My brand for South Australia is all about defining our State as a Brilliant Beginning. The aim is to rebrand South Australia as the optimal place to live, work, study and travel, to an international market heavily focusing on those who wish to start a new life abroad. We have a range of unique features such as our states affordability, safety and low crime rates, work and study opportunities and sustainability which would appeal to an international market. The aim is to also define South Australia from all the other states and territories to become a clear, distinguished identity. As a South Australian I love how close we are to places such as the Barossa Valley, Hahndorf, Victor Harbour and unique beautiful beaches such as Moana and Aldinga, making a city escape to the country time and cost effective. I love the city's intelligent grid design, which often is overlooked but actually makes navigating around the city and the rest of Adelaide really easy. I also love Adelaide's social café culture in places like the Bay, Gouger and Hindley Street -- All the while incorporating music, and the arts. South Australia seems to offer something for everyone. The brand is not making South Australia something it isn't. It's not Melbourne, or Brisbane or Perth. It is simply highlighting everything that makes South Australia and Adelaide a Brilliant Beginning for living, work, study and travel in our Nation's most sustainable State.
