Victoria Street Market - Durban, South Africa
Durban's Victoria Street Market is a great place to visit, there's lots of things to look at. I enjoyed pancakes for lunch there and bought a Zulu cultural outfit with shoes made from car tyres! Whatever you do guys, do not get spice in your eyes, that was not cool! This was a crazy day that I tell everyone about often. You should check it out.

At the Victoria Street Market, shop for African inspired accessories, clothing, souvenirs, home decorations, paintings and luggage etc. I was mostly fascinated with the spices stalls. Next to the Victoria Street Market is the Zulu Medicine Market where you can have an informative tour of “Inyanga (Doctors) lane”. The Zulu Medicine Market is a unique place where Zulu culture has survived in the modern urban environment.

É um “approach” diferente do pessoal da Greenmarket Square, de Cape Town, por exemplo. Dono da Madari & Sons e de um carisma notável, ele não para de falar. Quando você percebe, já está no meio de uma conversa que envolve todos os presentes no estabelecimento.
O assunto sempre tem a ver com as inúmeras especiarias disponíveis na loja. Tanto as do balcão principal, dispostas em grandes vasilhas, quanto as misturas dentro de potes nas prateleiras.

My experience :
Racial segregation the place was only white people and a a few or little blacks most of them were the traders btw
But it was a great experience The earlier you go the better
