Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (Duquesne Incline) HD footage
So we were on our way to Cedar Point and the trip took us past Pittsburgh, a city I have been to on 2 prior occasions, and enjoyed.
It was rush hour so we decided to get off the roads a couple hours and see a little because Matt has never been so I wanted to show him. In this video we just went to the historic Duquesne Incline and took a ride on it and it is in this video and also a little footage from driving the streets of Pittsburgh. Hope everyone will enjoy this and if you have never been there it is very nice. Thee forst time I went there was to go to the Andy Warhol Art Museum and that was in the 90's I think so it was nice to see Pittsburgh once again....
Our Us Tours Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh is the second-largest city in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. Pittsburgh is known as both the Steel City for its more than 300 steel-related businesses and the City of Bridges for its 446 bridges. The city features 30 skyscrapers, 2 inclined railways, a pre-revolutionary fortification
The Fort Pitt Tunnel carries between Downtown Pittsburgh and its West End neighborhood in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. It has two lanes both inbound and outbound. The tunnel travels beneath Mount Washington. Before entering the tunnel at its southwest end, one sees a commonplace view of Western Pennsylvania's rolling green hills, but upon exiting at the northeast end, one sees a spectacular view of Pittsburgh's skyline, cited by the New York Times as the best way to enter an American city. The Tunnel is 3,614 ft in length, 28 ft wide, 13.5 ft vertical clearance, Serves nearly 107,000 vehicles per day. There are 1,788 light fixtures with 3,576 bulbs, 187,200 sq ft of tiled surface to wash.
The Duquesne Incline is an inclined plane railroad, located near Pittsburgh's South Side neighborhood and scaling Mt. Washington. The incline was completed in 1877 and is 800 feet long, 400 feet in height, and is inclined at a 30 degree angle. It is an unusual track gauge of 5 ft. Originally steam powered, the Duquesne Incline was built to carry cargo up and down Mt. Washington in the late 19th century. It later carried passengers, particularly Mt. Washington residents who were tired of walking up footpaths to the top. By the end of the 1960s, only the Monongahela Incline and the Duquesne Incline remained.

Welcome to Pittsburgh, one of the best places in the world to visit in 2013, as seen on NBC's Today show! We invite you to visit and see for yourself what makes Pittsburgh so great, from our hometown spirit, lots of fun things for families to do, great restaurants and places to stay...oh yes, and then there's our sports teams. What more can we say? Steel and coal may have built this city, and you'll see the names Mellon and Carnegie on an awful lot of things, but Pittsburgh has come a long way from its gritty, industrial past. The Waterfront Complex, a collection of shops, restaurants, a movie theater and even a water park, was recently built on the site of the former Bethlehem Steel Works, and two new professional sports stadiums have opened downtown in just the past two years. However, history buffs will delight in a visit to sites like the Point State Park (home of the Fort Pitt Museum) and the Duquesne Incline, where you can ride an antique cable car and browse displays about this unique form of transportation. If you don't mind the extra drive, a trip to Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling water is a must.

Cartoons 101 Visits The ToonSeum In Pittsburgh
I hopped on the Pennsylvania Turnpike and visited Pittsburgh! Of course I tried the local delicacies and saw the sights, but the main reason for the visit was to check out the Toonseum, the east coast's premiere museum focused solely on cartoons! If you're ever in the area, definitely check it out, it's well worth the eight bucks. Also worth the money is supporting Cartoons 101 on Patreon!
Have an idea for a Cartoons 101 topic or a place for me to visit? Tell me in the comments!

What to Do In Pittsburgh in the Fall
Pittsburgh can be such an amazing city in the fall. The leaves are changing, there’s a slight chill in the air and best of all, there are festivals, Halloween and pumpkin fests galore. Here are six great activities you can do with all your loved ones, from your significant other to your little nieces and nephews.
With your significant other…
Kennywood’s Phantom Fright Nights – Everyone’s favorite summertime staple turns into a horrorfest Fridays and Saturdays September 30th through October 29th. Our favorite warm weather happy place is turned into a grotesque, frightening haunted amusement park with frights like “Voodoo Bayou” at Raging Rapids and Noah’s Ark, which is turned into a haunted ark. Grab your significant other and head to this perfect date night. Guys, be prepared for a lot of hand grabbing!
With your mom…
Phipps’ Conservatory Fall Flower Show – Starting October 15th, grab mom and head to the annual fall flower show at Phipps. The Palm Court turns into a vineyard theme, with old barrels and grape vines. The Sunken Garden is transformed into an old-fashioned apple orchard and cider press. Mom will love feeling like she’s whisked away to Italian vineyards or a majestic apple orchard in upstate New York.
With your dad…
Take a fall drive up to Ohiopyle – Yinzers love visiting Ohiopyle State Park and in the fall, it’s particularly beautiful. Head to one of the many hiking trails and gaze at the gorgeous fall foliage. If dad’s a fishermen, spend the afternoon fishing and having a heart to heart.
With your sister or brother…
Pittsburgh Penguins’ 6.6K – Get out to this fourth annual race that benefits the Mario Lemieux Foundation and the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation and spend some time exercising with your brother or sister. The race route starts and ends at PPG Paints Arena (formally the Consol Energy Center) and winds it’s way around town, making for the perfect fall morning in the ‘burgh.
With your little nieces and nephews…
Pennsylvania Trolley Museum’s Pumpkin Patch Trolley – Washington County’s Pumpkin Patch Trolley holds tours with a pumpkin patch every weekend beginning October 14th from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Bring along your pint-sized nieces and nephews for pumpkin decorating, snacks and games. Many children love trains and trolleys, so this activity could provide endless entertainment.
There are you have it! Where are some of your must-do activities in Pittsburgh for the fall? Comment below, we want to know!

Lyrics:
Yeah I'm out of South Side, right next to the river.
Now I live in Whitehall, but I'll be hood forever.
I'm the new Fred Rogers. Won't you be my neighbor?
I got neighbors anywhere. Yeah, they love me everywhere.
I used to shop at Isaly's. All of my babushka mamas.
Please take a number. Look! There's a sale on bananas.
Half a pound of chipped ham. Another half of Swiss cheese.
Catch me in the kitchen with my sister spreadin' mayo-neeze.
Cruising in South Park. Backwards Pirates cap.
Driving so slow, 'cause you know it's a speed trap.
Gonna ride the Thunderbolt, and eat Potato Patch fries.
Turn on WQED. They doin' a pledge drive.
Say what up to Henrietta Pussycat, say Meow, meow.
And say Woof, woof! to Bob Dog, Mr Bob Trow.
When I'm at Heinz field, I yell at the referee
Tell by my attitude that I'm most definitely from...
Pittsburgh! (Allegheny!)
The Three Rivers where dreams are made of. (Monongahela!)
There's nothing yinz can't do! (Ohio!)
Now you're in Pittsburgh! (Aha. Aha. Aha.)
Get yourself an I.C. Light cold brew. (Woo!)
The fireworks inspire you. (Zambelli!)
Let's hear it for Pittsburgh! Picks-burgh! Blitz-burgh!
(I made ya hot, Yinzer!)
Catch me with my barf-bag down at the Pirates game.
Jeez oh man, I pitch better than most Pirates can.
You should know I bleed Black and I also bleed Gold.
I remember when the Pirates were good 'cause I'm old.
Poison's Bret Michaels, singin' in a glam band.
Michael Keaton was Tim Burton's Batman.
Yellow Cab, Checker Cab, Classy Cab, Peoples Cab.
Foreigners all confused because they don't see a single cab.
Go to Club Erotica to see broads naked.
Or go to Mancini's and get bread where they bake it.
Stephen Foster and Gene Kelly.
To give directions, I mention where things used to be.
Pitt and CMU. No, we ain't no dopes.
Super Bowl parades. Rest in peace, Myron Cope.
Statue of Caliguiri. Long live the inclines.
Long as I got a can of pop, I'm feeling fine when I'm in...
Pittsburgh! (Aw Yeah!)
From Cranberry down to Munhall. (Near West Mifflin!)
Slow Down in the Tunnel. (Hit the brakes now!)
If you are from Pittsburgh! (Aha. Aha. Aha.)
Yinz can go down to the Casino, (Rivers!)
And hug Dan Marino (Number 13!)
Yeah, Dan is from Pittsburgh! Picks-burgh! Blitz-burgh!
Donnie Iris, singin' Ah, Leah!
Joe Grushecky and Cristina Aguilera.
Gino Malkin and Sidney Crosby.
George Romero making movies 'bout zombies.
Some things in this town were kind of silly.
Like Chiller Theater with your host, Chilly Billy.
Hanging in Oakland, eating fries at the 'O'.
Beer costs an extra buck 'cause of Dan Onorato.
Mommy took a bus trip to Monroeville Mall.
But the route was cut by Lil' Luke Ravenstahl.
Get yourself a sammich at Primanti's.
Capicola 'n egg 'n fries 'n slaw on bread with cheese.
Head to the Funny Bone to see some comedians.
Or go to the Warhol to see pictures of soup cans.
Brand new arena! Two new stadiums!
Welcome to Pittsburgh, the City of Champions!
Pittsburgh! (Allegheny!)
The Three Rivers where dreams are made of. (Monongahela!)
There's nothing yinz can't do! (Ohio!)
Now you're in Pittsburgh! (Aha. Aha. Aha.)
Go to Peppi's and buy a hoagie. (Yum!)
And eat some pierogies. (Mrs. T's!)
Let's hear it for Pittsburgh! Picks-burgh! Blitz-burgh!
One hand in the air for the Steel City.
From Mt. Washington it looks pretty.
No place in the world brings more joy.
Wave your towels in the air, everybody say Yoi! Yoi! (Yoi!)
Yoi! Yoi! (Double Yoi!)
Pittsburgh!
The Three Rivers where dreams are made of.
There's nothing yinz can't do.
Now you're in Pittsburgh!
Kennywood will make you feel brand new.
Hey, Troy Polamalu!
Let's hear it for Pittsburgh! Picks-burgh! Blitz-burgh!

Pittsburgh's South Side Flats is a neighborhood rich in history, architecture, and diversity. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, people came from all over the world to live there. Today, its massive steel mill is gone but the neighborhood is growing because of its great bars, restaurants, and shops. Its main street is Carson Street, where the historic business district now thrives.

Bio/Purpose for This Channel
Born in Pittsburgh, PA , I was surrounded by individuals who chose to simply go through the motions and stick to the norm. From a young age I realized that I wanted to challenge the status quo not by dreaming, but by DOING. So a month after graduating I moved 2,057 miles away from home (if using google maps) to Scottsdale, AZ.
At the beginning of this year (4 years later) I realized my life's passion was to explore the world through hiking adventures and life changing experiences. This is that journey.

Grandview Overlook
Four overlook decks line Grandview Avenue for a priceless view of downtown Pittsburgh
mwcdc.org
We've all taken the normal Mount Washington trip. You park at Station Square and walk to the Monongahela Incline. You try to get the lowest seats so that you can stare back at downtown as you ascend the mountain. When you reach the top, you quickly exit and hurry to one of the overlooks on Grandview Avenue. You smile for a picture with the city in the background—the photo that, by law, must appear on the Facebook page of every 'Burgher.
It's the most impressive view available of the city, and Pittsburgh remains one of the most impressive-looking cities around. Every local should head to Mount Washington to appreciate our town at least once, and every out-of-towner should be taken up there immediately.
But if all you know of Mount Washington is the view, you might be looking in the wrong direction.
For instance, if you'd simply turn around from that first overlook near the incline, you'd notice the main drag of Shiloh Street stretching out in front of you. This historic block features the newly opened Shiloh Grill, sister restaurant to Shadyside's Harris Grill and one of the best new bars and restaurants in town. Havana Tapas and Wine Bar, another new spot with more of a club feel, is a few doors down.
If the kids are with you, get 'em a cone from DiFiore's Ice Cream Delite, and grab yourself an iced mocha something-or-other from DiFiore's neighboring coffee shop. Once you wipe their hands, take them to the 110-year-old Carnegie Library of Mount Washington and have them pick out a story or two from the kids' section (you can return it at any Carnegie branch). A mile or so down the road, the famous Grandview restaurants continue to offer fine dining on the top of the world.

Exploring North Shore Pittsburgh | GoPro 4k Footage
Day 1 of Pittsburgh trip I showcase the North Shore to Savannah. All is great in the city of bridges until the rain started pouring on us!
Along the Allegheny and Ohio Rivers, the North Shore boasts great views of Downtown. Most famous for its iconic sports venues on the North Shore – Heinz Field and PNC Park – it's also home to world-class museums and award-winning attractions. Take the T (the subway under the river…it's free) or walk to Rivers Casino, The Andy Warhol Museum, Mattress Factory, Kayak Pittsburgh, National Aviary, Children's Museum of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Science Center, to name a few! Make a note: It's one of the best places in the city to watch fireworks…and there are plenty of chances to do that!
