Bariloche, Argentina (HD) [Travel Review by A Life That Travels]
Bariloche, Argentina might not be a big name destination, but it certainly packs a very big punch.
Spectacularly located amongst the lakes and mountains of northern Patagonia, Bariloche has something for everyone.
For backpackers and outdoors folk, there are endless trails, rivers and roads to discover.
For foodies and those who love a little luxury, you'll find incredible hotels, great places to eat and lots of places to be pampered.
And for people who love beautiful views, hidden gems and who are a little adventurous...well, you'll find the most spectacular brewery in perhaps the whole world and a treetop zipline that will give you quite a rush!
In this A Life That Travels destination video, Rob Malicki shows you everything that Bariloche has to offer.
And hang around to the end to see the stunning highlight if this secret, but seriously bucket-list worthy, corner of Argentina and the world.

No propaganda!
Welcome to A Life That Travels, a channel dedicated to providing independent, unbiased advice and stories from around the world.
Why does A Life That Travels exist?
Because SOCIETY shouldn't set the LIMITS on WHO YOU CAN BE.
But it tries to.
Making decisions about what to do with your life is hard and there's way too much pressure on people to work it all out and to find your passion... like you're some kind of failure if you don't.
So here's the truth.
You've got plenty of time and working it out is hard.
You can study (uni or technical/vocation ed).
You can go travelling.
You can get a job and dive straight into your career.
And you know what?
ALL of these are PERFECTLY acceptable options.
And that's where A Life That Travels comes in.
* Interviews with REAL PEOPLE who've done INTERESTING things with their lives, through study, work and travel, so that maybe you can find your own ideas in their stories
* Travel stories, destinations and advice... so if you want to see the world you'll see it's not so scary stepping out of your comfort zone.
* Unbiased reviews of universities and other study options so you can cut through the noise and make clearer decisions.

Bariloche in Argentina is located at the northern end of the region Patagonia and serves as the perfect gateway to start our adventure. Surrounded by lakes and situated close to the Andes you can go for big variety of activities. While it is one of the largest ski ressorts in South America in winter it turns into a hikers paradise in summer.
Rather than hanging out in the city itself we used it as a base to drive around the 7 lakes, hike & camp to the Tronador and climbed our way up to Frey, Cerro Campanario and Catedral. With this we can give you a bigger picture of the area and you can easily use this video as a Bariloche Guide for your own trip!
This part of the trip was executed within 1,5 weeks by using the local buses and a well planned itinerary after we flew in from Buenos Aries - following I list all the places we visited & Things to do in Bariloche:
- Chocolateria Rapa Nui
- Cerro Campanario
- San Martin de los Andes
- Circuito de los 7 Lagos
- Villa La Angostura
- Center of Bariloche
- Villa Catedral
- Cerro Catedral
- Refugio Frey
- Refugio Otto Meiling
- Cerro Tronador
- Pampa Linda
- Glaciar Castaño Overo
I'm excited to share all our experiences in Patagonia over the course of the next 8 weeks with you. In the next episodes we will Hitchhike the Carretera Austral, trek through the most impressive mountain ranges, ice hike over the glaciers of the southern Patagonian Icefield and meet impressive characters along the way.
The Patagonian Expedition is a 95% self funded video documentary project following my trip in 2012/2013. Our aim is to show you the beauty of the rather unknown parts in Patagonia alongside with the famous spots.
Beside beautiful landscape you can expect loads of information and our personal experiences and struggles along the way.

The whole trip was executed over the course of 2 months using mostly local transport such as busses, cars and trucks. A big thank you goes to Lufthansa for providing the flights into and out of South America in their new Premium Economy Class!

Traveling to San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina | Ep. 33
We continued our road trip north through Argentina to San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina after a long 3 day drive from Ushuaia. Located in the heart of the lake district, Bariloche is a charming Argentinian town with an interesting German history. This is our last stop in Patagonia from our 31 day road trip around the southern tip of South America.

Traveling is embedded into our relationship as we met on a Spring Break cruise in 2016. Since then, we haven't stopped traveling together in the United States and abroad. We left New York in July 2019 to travel the world and we took work with us, including starting a travel vlog. We have made it our mission to slow travel for 16 months throughout South America and Asia and to create travel videos along the way.
Traveling Atlas was created to capture our moments of taking risk, building connections, and seeing the world. We will be staying in each country we visit for about a month in order to experience cultures to our maximum capacity and to inspire others that they can do the same. We are Brandon and Erin, follow the journey and stay tuned.

Sightseeing around BARILOCHE Argentina!! | 336
17 November 2019 - Day 87 - Bariloche | 336
Day 87 - Today we go out exploring on the outskirts of San Carlos de Bariloche and make our way to Cerro Campanario! A small viewpoint on a hill just 17km from town, it’s a nice and cruisy activity to go sightseeing around Bariloche for the afternoon. ????????
First we buy our bus card and food for the day. One very noticeable thing was that prices here are a lot more cheaper than Chile! A large burger meal with chips at a restaurant only cost me 350p ($9AUD) ???? ????. You can’t even get that at Maccas for a little Big Mac!
We arrive at Cerro Campanario where you have the option to go up a $10 teleferico or a 30min steep walk up. Of course I opted the later. Though not a very scenic walk up the dirt trail, we are rewarded with stunning views of several lakes, snow topped mountains and the region of Llao Llao! ????????
The original plan was to spend the afternoon hiking through Llao Llao but rain came and the weather decided to turn, and so did I. Back at the hostel for a chilled evening with a late dinner to end out first full day here in Bariloche! ????????
