Warwick Castle: Warwick, Warwickshire, England
Warwick Castle, built by the Normans in 1068 following their invasion of England two years earlier; and then added to over the following centres. A great day out, with lots to do and see, especially if you arrange to visit on days when ‘Shows’ and ‘Events’ are taking place.
Warwick Castle, which we’ve visited on a number of occasions, is one of our favourite castles. On our latest visit as well as the usual show of falcons (birds of prey), there was the open air ‘Show’ of ‘The Wars of the Roses’ which included Jousting, and the firing of the Trebuchet at the end of the day. Plus, the dungeons are well worth the visit, although not suitable for the disabled or faint of hearted.
When we first visited Warwick castle years ago a quick tour of the dungeons was free, and amounted to just seeing the dungeons as it was, plus a few of the implements used at the time. The Organisers have since enhanced the concept and made the dungeon concept a feature of the visit which you now have to pay for; although worth every penny. Now, you don’t actually see the dungeons, but you do have a 20 minutes ‘audience participation’ theatrical experience as you are led on a tour of the medieval past; and learn something about the history of medieval culture.
For more information, and details of when 'Events' and 'Shows' are taking place, visit the Official Website:-

ENGLAND: The ancient TOMBS of the CEMETERY of WARWICK ⚱️
SUBSCRIBE: - Let's visit the historic city of Warwick in England and let's walk around its ancient cemetery.
Warwick is a town on the River Avon, in England’s West Midlands region. It’s known for the medieval Warwick Castle, founded by William the Conqueror. The Collegiate Church of St. Mary has a tower with city views and a Norman crypt. The timber-framed buildings of 14th-century Lord Leycester Hospital cluster by the city’s West Gate. The St. John’s House Museum is housed in a Jacobean mansion with gardens.
England, birthplace of Shakespeare and The Beatles, is a country in the British Isles bordering Scotland and Wales. The capital, London, on the River Thames, is home of Parliament, Big Ben and the 11th-century Tower of London. It's also a multicultural, modern hub for the arts and business. Other large cities are Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Bristol and the university centres of Oxford and Cambridge.

Warwick Castle is a medieval castle developed from an original built by William the Conqueror in 1068. Warwick is the county town of Warwickshire, England, situated on a bend of the River Avon. The original wooden motte-and-bailey castle was rebuilt in stone in the 12th century. During the Hundred Years War, the facade opposite the town was refortified, resulting in one of the most recognisable examples of 14th century military architecture. It was used as a stronghold until the early 17th century, when it was granted to Sir Fulke Greville by James I in 1604. Greville converted it to a country house and it was owned by the Greville family, who became Earls of Warwick in 1759, until 1978 when it was bought by the Tussauds Group. In 2007, the Tussauds Group merged with Merlin Entertainments, which is the current owner of Warwick Castle.

Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire
A short tourism video about Royal Leamington Spa in Warwickshire.
Royal Leamington Spa earned its Royal Charter for its spa waters of which Queen Victoria was very fond.
In 1918 the Royal Pump Rooms were opened close to the River Leam.
This grand structure attracted many visitors hoping to soothe various aches and pains by bathing in the salty spa waters which were discovered in Roman times.
The town has some spectacular Victorian parks and buildings making this a very popular place to live.
It has a huge range of bars and restaurants, and also many independent shops and boutiques.
See for more details.
Visiting Oxford | 2018 | Things to do and places to see | VLOG
If you are a tourist in Oxford, some great things to do include exploring the areas surrounding the Radcliffe Camera, the Bodleian Library (especially if you are a Harry Potter fan), and the tower at St Mary's Church for stunning aerial views. All of the University of Oxford buildings are also definitely worth a visit as the architecture is beautiful. Oxford has many places to eat too! Try Combibos for delicious pancakes or The Handlebar for a healthy brunch.
The hotel we stayed at was the Malmaison Oxford. You can check out my vlog on it here:

BERMUDA: AMAZING BRIGHT PINK SANDS of WARWICK LONG BAY BEACH ????️
SUBSCRIBE: - Let's go to Bermuda and let's visit Warwick Long Bay beach which is a long and magnificent beach of half a mile stretch of pink sands. Against a backdrop of grape & cedar trees, and low grasses, the beach looks fabulous. It's one of the most picturesque beaches of Bermuda. Warwick Long Bay lies on South Shore Park in Warwick parish and to the east of Horseshoe bay beach (i.e. to the left as you face the water) and is connected by a sandy trail passing through several other lovely beaches along the way. The beach is full of little coves and rocks.
Bermuda is a British island territory in the North Atlantic Ocean known for its pink-sand beaches such as Elbow Beach and Horseshoe Bay. Its massive Royal Naval Dockyard complex combines modern attractions like the interactive Dolphin Quest with maritime history at the National Museum of Bermuda. The island has a distinctive blend of British and American culture, which can be found in the capital, Hamilton.

Birmingham is a major city in England’s West Midlands region, with multiple Industrial Revolution-era landmarks that speak to its 18th-century history as a manufacturing powerhouse. It’s also home to a network of canals, many of which radiate from Sherborne Wharf and are now lined with trendy cafes and bars. In the city centre, the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery is known for pre-Raphaelite masterpieces.
Birmingham is a city and metropolitan borough in the West Midlands, England. Birmingham is the largest and most populous British city outside London. A medium-sized market town in the medieval period, Birmingham grew to international prominence in the 18th century at the heart of the Midlands Enlightenment and subsequent Industrial Revolution, which saw the town at the forefront of worldwide advances in science, technology, and economic development, producing a series of innovations that laid many of the foundations of modern industrial society.
Today Birmingham's economy is dominated by the service sector. The city is a major international commercial centre, ranked as a gamma+ world city by the Globalization and World Cities Research Network; and an important transport, retail, events and conference hub. Its metropolitan economy is the second largest in the United Kingdom with a GDP of $121.1bn (2014), and its six universities make it the largest centre of higher education in the country outside London. Birmingham's major cultural institutions – including the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, the Birmingham Royal Ballet, the Birmingham Repertory Theatre, the Library of Birmingham and the Barber Institute of Fine Arts – enjoy international reputations, and the city has vibrant and influential grassroots art, music, literary and culinary scenes. Birmingham is the fourth-most visited city in the UK by foreign visitors.
Birmingham's sporting heritage can be felt worldwide, with the concept of the Football League and lawn tennis both originating from the city. Its most successful football club Aston Villa has won seven league titles and one European Cup with the other professional club being Birmingham City.
People from Birmingham are called Brummies, a term derived from the city's nickname of Brum. This originates from the city's dialect name, Brummagem, which may in turn have been derived from one of the city's earlier names, Bromwicham. There is a distinctive Brummie accent and dialect.
