We the Curious, Bristol, England, UK
If you've ever wondered what it's like at 'We The Curious' (formerly @Bristol) hands-on science exhibition centre (Bristol, England, UK), and whether it was worth a visit, then this should give you a good idea of what to expect.
Join us as we have the most tremendously fun (and educational) time learning through observation, experimentation and play.
This is the second part of a two-part mini-series documenting a day out we had in Bristol, prior to spending the night at Bristol Central Travelodge. The next day we will be flying out to Lisbon, Portugal - so be sure to subscribe and hit the notification bell to make sure you catch all our Lisbon vlogs, of which there will be many!!
This vlog concludes with a family room-tour in Bristol Central Travelodge.

I'm Imo and she's Izzy. We love getting out and about and exploring South Wales and beyond.
We're a home-schooling/home-educating family of two based in the UK dealing with the daily challenges of managing Izzy's severe, chronic eczema and her education. Our resourcefulness is tested on a daily basis but we'd love to share our little triumphs and discoveries with you as we go along.
I will always write closed captions in UK English for my vlogs, not only to make them more accessible in general but also to create a useful resource for advanced learners of the English language who may enjoy regular bursts of pseudo-immersion in English in a narrative context with the additional benefit of corresponding on-screen text.
These videos will not generally feature background music making them extra suitable for people who aren't keen on pop music! x

Bristol's Waterfront. Bristol, England, UK.
It's the start of another adventure for Imo and Izzy. We start by heading for Bristol Temple Meads Rail Station and take a leisurely stroll along the beautiful and fascinating Bristol Harbour Waterfront. There's lots to see, including Imo's favourite crane!
This is one of those vlogs that got split into two as it was such a long day with so much to see. There will be a subsequent vlog all about our experience in the science museum - We The Curious (formerly knows as @Bristol). Look out for that one!
We had a fantastic day. Thank you so much for joining us.

Opening Night Of Bristol UK Commercial TV - Made In Bristol Chris, Natalie & Alistair Watson
Freeview Channel 8 - Not quite Louis Sherwood's HTV.......
But that seems to be lost on Louis' former fair weather friends at Business West
Made in Bristol will broadcast to 330,000 households on Freeview channel 8 and will be on air by summer 2014.
Made in Bristol is a collaboration between Made Television Ltd - which is applying for 11 licences across the country - and the Bristol-based tabloid news agency South West News Service (SWNS).
The station will broadcast 24 hours a day and will feature local news, entertainment, information and lifestyle programming.
Director Martin Winter said: “Local TV will allow all aspects of life in Bristol to be showcased and provide a massive commercial boost to local businesses looking to engage with the local community.
Local businesses deserve to have local TV as their chance to advertise and compete with national brands.
We want to be as inclusive as possible and strengthen the local media in Bristol. It is our intention to embrace and co-operate wherever we can.
The station will feature hourly news bulletins, a 30-minute evening news programme and a daily magazine show with local features and debates.

5G Digital Innovation - The Smart Internet Lab, University of Bristol, Subtitled
Professor Dimitra Simeonidou, Director of the Smart Internet Lab at the University of Bristol talks about how Bristol is a key location in 5G digital innovation. Focusing on the success of the Mobile World Congress 5G end-to end trial, the Layered Realities weekend in March 2018, and other in-house research, she highlights the significance of achieving a world first in the form of a 5G public showcase in Bristol City.
In conjunction with the DCMS '5GUK testbeds and trials' programme, and alongside the University of Surrey and King's College London, the University of Bristol contributes invaluable research to the development and eventual deployment of a 5G infrastructure in the UK.
The Layered Realities Weekend was the world's first public 5G showcase. It was created by the University of Bristol's Smart Internet Lab, produced by Watershed and hosted by We The Curious. The event took place in March 2018 in Millennium Square, Bristol City Centre.
