We're at the most easterly point of Australia spotting whales from the famous light tower at Byron Bay. See amazing footage of whales and dolphins breaching the surface. We even capture a pair of whales jumping right out of the water! Whale Watching at Byron Bay.mov
Whale watching in Cape Byron (Byron Bay) is great! Being Australia's most easterly mainland point, the whales always come past on their northbound journey in June/July, returning again in October as they travel south. The large Baleen whale, the Humpback, flock past many points on Australia's East (and West) Coasts. We went out as a group of 12 - with a dedicated boat to our group of 12, and had the most wonderful display of antics from a seriously playful number of whale pods on their northward journey. Whale Watching - The Happy Whale in Byron Bay
The Happy Whale jumping for 10 minutes…WOW!
Imagina ir a ver ballenas y encontrarte una que no para de saltar al lado de tu barco durante 15 minutos... SO LUCKY!
Can you really see Dolphins and Whales in Byron Bay?!
We love Byron Bay!
It's so beautiful, the lighthouse, the beaches, even the town itself is gorgeous with all the live music. And if you're there during the winter season, you can even spot amazing marine life from the lighthouse as we did...
If you're in the surroundings, we'd recommend you to check it out!

unbelievable humpback whale encounter in byron bay
Drone Shark and Whale spotting at Byron and Brunswick
Drone Shark and Whale spotting at Byron and Brunswick to stop shark nets being deployed. I've been enjoying being with the last of the southern migrating humpbacks as they swim by Brunswick and Byron. Im sure many others have also felt their heart burst open and come alive as they grace us with their presence for 5 months every year and invite us to open into their world of unconditional love. They are waiting patiently for us humans to wake up. In every moment we all have opportunities to do just this with the choices we make, or don't make. I would like to encourage people to choose love over fear as this I feel is the biggest and best choice we can make as humans. The whales and sharks and all the animals of the sea are now giving us a clear opportunity to choose love over fear by not allowing rope shark nets to be installed along their east coast migration route. Hundreds of whales, dolphins, turtles, rays, sharks, etc, have needlessly died because some humans have been tricked into choosing fear over love. Be aware it doesn't happen to you. Let the creatures of the sea swim free. For them and for the Humans don't choose shark nets.
Yesterday I flew my Phantom 3 pro drone along Watigos, The Pass and Bilongil and could see deep enough into the water and operate fine. In my experience the images shot by the drone could be live streamed to Youtube at certain times and people could make an informed decision at the time if they wanted to go in the water. Our very own eye in the sky. We have so much technology available these days i am amazed that the NSW Blair gov has bought into this fear mentality around sharks and going for these outdated shark nets and not pursuing this progressive technology. Let the pollys know how you feel on this, don't just except that its ok to choose fear and killing other sentient beings. I would also suggest looking at an Interview i did with Anna Breytenbach communicating with the Great White Shark consciousness at
